I've deleted my OkCupid! account about 400 times, but I always come crawling back. It's terrible, but the quizzes are just that addictive. Also, I tend to have a lot of conversations that start like this:

X: I met someone who is .
Me: Oh yeah? That's pretty cool. How did you meet?
X: Actually, that's a funny story...
Me: It was OkCupid!, wasn't it?
X: How did you know???

This time, it was my cousin who recommended I join. She seems deliriously happy in her relationship. Maybe I'll make a few cool friends, at the very least.

Okay, so here's the rundown.

I do a little bit of freelance work writing here and there. Right now, I'm in the process of looking for a 'real' job (along with, what? 30% of the country or something like that?) and trying to get into Graduate School.

Huntington Beach is my native home, but I did go to college in Glasgow, Scotland and, as a result, I have a really expensive looking goatskin parchment hanging up in my room. They didn't tell me it wasn't worth the goat it was printed on... I kid! Kid, get it? Baby goats? Yuckyuckyuck!

Once my sister asked me what I was doing and I said, "Oh... just being me." I'm pretty good at that!

Also, I'm killer at recommending good music and finding cool, fun places to go for relatively cheap. I love to travel and I'd say I'm pretty good at weeding out the cheap hotels/flights.

Adventuring is a hobby of mine. Always looking for some of that.

That I'm pretty shy and wear a lot of sparkly clothing, I suppose. And that I laugh a lot. Yeeeeeeah, I have a nervous laugh.

Oh, I'm pretty tall for a girl, too. 5'10, baybay!
