I am bored, at work, and online now!.
My Self-Summary
My name is Paul. I am a chill braux fresh outta college, working at
a job I don't particularly like and without any specific plans to
advance my future. I have a mind for science and love learning
about most fields; I was a biochemistry major in college. I would
be down to watch the Discovery Channel any time of day, especially
when stoned. Unless Cash Cab is on, then no weed, all bets are off,
and we begin hand-to-hand combat. I've considered quitting my job
and picking a street corner and waiting for the Cash Cab all day as
a career option.
I like relaxing a lot, and cherish downtime by myself. When I am
out or with a group of friends, I like to command the attention and
make people laugh. I like to make people uncomfortable for my own
entertainment, but not in a sadistic way.
What I’m doing with my life
Living in Spanish Harlem, working full-time in Astoria, kind of
taking it easy until I figure out what I want badly enough to
motivate myself to do it. In the mean time, just hanging out with
friends, going out on weekends, playing Yahoo! Pool, the usual. I
might want to be a doctor; I thought I wanted to do lab research
but changed my mind after doing it for a year. Another real passion
lies in music; playing piano and singing, somewhat playing the
guitar, and writing music. I want to be Lord GaGa and use my
celebrity to further human rights movements. I hope she's okay with
me ripping her off like that, since it's for the greater good.
I’m really good at
typing, trivia, playing (morbid) practical jokes on friends and
forgetting to mention that I was joking, commenting to random
people in the street when I'm drunk, doing impressions of Creed,
most of whose lyrics I surprisingly and unhappily find myself
knowing
The first things people usually notice about me
Do people usually tell you the first thing they notice about you
when you meet them? Is this a social norm? Who are you hanging out
with?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The King Must Die, Life of Pi, A God of Small Things, The
Catcher in the Rye... to be honest, it's not that I don't read
much, but I never finish books. Plus I don't really read that
much.
Movies: I like movies that make me cry. These range from The
Pianist to Home Alone 2 (much more heavy-hearted than its
prequel).
Music: Jay-Z, Lady GaGa, Kanye, Discovery, Tegan and Sara, The
Beatles, Ben Folds Five, Jason Mraz, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, Lauryn
Hill, Daft Punk, John Legend... I have respect for good vocals, so
often a good singer can transcend the genre, also.
Food: I'll eat anything. I think I'm always in the mood for
everything. I guess I can never say no to chicken parmagiana, or
something with guacamole on it. Or guacamole without anything else.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family/friends
2. Money, dirty money
3. Room to grow
4. Spontaneity of some kind
5. Piano
6. My kitties
I spend a lot of time thinking about
To quote Bridezillas: "I don't think, I know. Thinking is for
people who have no brains."
On a typical Friday night I am
...doing any number of things, the majority of which involve
drinking and going out with friends, but sometimes I stay in and
watch 8 hours of HBO OnDemand.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I sometimes shit like 4 times a day. Oh... is this premature?
You should message me if
Just message me, unless you're only going to say "Hey, what's up?"
because if that's all you can come up with I don't think it's going
to work out. Oh, and if you're not into any random encounter
bullshit. Also, if you think that getting Last Man on the Earth in
that fucking Dating Persona quiz is BULLSHIT.
