I love art made by my friends, movies about underdogs, sad songs, books about the future, poems that are puzzles, interpretations of what god might be, and chocolate milk.
People who I think deserve more attention include:
Chaplin, WC Fields, Tesla, Richard Dawkins, Bill Nye, Brian Eno, Phillip Glass, Laurie Anderson, and Kurt Vonnegut.
I'm new here and am looking for someone I'm happy to see when I come home from work. Someone who'll hike the AT with me. Someone who'll make terrible music with me. Someone who'll get dressed up for the opera, or for the reverend Horton Heat show. You know the kind of someone I mean.
What I’m doing with my life
I've just moved to Chicago for work. I'm trying to see where I fit in this city, and with so many scenes to choose from, it's gonna take a while. Unless you're the scene I'm looking for? (I'm writing this at the airport with very little sleep.)
I’m really good at
I'd say I'm good at a lot of things, but not really good at
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like Devo, Eno, and Phillip Glass. Steve Reich is alright, but
Terry Riley is way better.
I love movies. A lot.
I read a ton of sci fi. I've also gotten really in Terry Pratchett.
The six things I could never do without
Music, Mountains, Weirdos.. I'll get back to this one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why we spend so much time thinking about things.
Also, where'd the cheese go at?
