Hey! I'm a friendly Mid-Westerner who is sick of the bar pick-up scene, and after a couple friends have had luck on here I decided to sign on. I love my family and friends and I am very close to them all. I love music, making it, listening to it, all of it! I love to travel and like new adventures. I'm pretty laid back I love the simple things in life like new socks, bookstores, campfires, straws, barefeet, singing in the shower, canoeing down the St. Croix, giant hedge mazes, clean sheets, Dancing, Kool-aid, swings, Lake Superior, TV on DVD and sarcasm....just to name a few. I am a Wisconsinite who moved here in January for an internship with a record label. I graduated May with a BA in Music and Arts Management. My internship is over and I'm just doing some random part time work now while I'm out on the dreaded job search. My life is a little up in the air but I'm finding it's great to be spontaneous sometimes.

Books: I finally have the time to read for myself again! But I haven't read anything lately that I've really loved. The last book I really enjoyed was Memoirs of a Geisha. I'm open to suggestions....I'm currently reading The Poisonwood Bible

Movies: Garden State, V For Vendetta, Magnolia, P.S. I Love You, The Constant Gardener, Love Actually. In general I like all movies. I really enjoy action films, romantic comedies, and crazy off-the wall, really makes you think kind of films.

Music:There is so much, recently I'm really into Parachute, Kings of Leon and The Jakes. I love Regina Spektor, Dashboard Confessional, MIKA, Alanis Morissette, Debussy, and Avishai Cohen. I like it all, not a lot of country but I have been into some bluegrass lately like Cherryholmes, Chris Thile, and Abigail Washburn.

TV Show: All Tv on DVD - I'm convinced you can get into any show if you watch 12 episodes in a row with no interruptions. That being said some of my favorites are Weeds, Seinfeld, The Office, Greys Anatomy (I know what you are thinking but everyone is allowed a guilty pleasure or two), Cash Cab, the Travel Channel in general, House, Scrubs...

Food: Italian is by far my favorite, especially pasta. Cheese. Red Wine. I love a good burger or steak. Potatoes. Mexican. I like alot of things. Not a fan of fish but I do like some seafood. I love trying new foods.

This is a split. I like to go out and have fun with my friends, but often I like to just chill on the weekend. I push myself hard at work during the week and sometimes I like to lay low, order in and watch a good movie.
