My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an artist, but not one of those artists whose every piece has some deep unguessable meaning. The only purpose to my art is to make people smile.

I often see things from a different angle than most people and I think that helps with my art. The world is filled with strange and wonderful things (also weird, bizarre, funky and just plain goofy) and I'm amazed at how many don't seem to notice them. Even if I'm a bit depressed, I'll see someone doing something strange and I'll just have to laugh.

I have 2 goats and a back yard full of cats. The goats think I'm hilarious, but who can take a goat seriously. The cats just think I'm weird, but we all know about cats, right? I want to teach the cats to ride on the goats, but when I presented the idea to the cats they were a little hesitant. The general consensus was that the goats would eat them. I've explained to them that goats don't eat cats, but they don't seem to get the concept of "herbivore".

Do to a medical condition and other factors, I won't be dating anymore, so I'm only looking for platonic friends.

Over 8 years ago I met my best friend on OKC, she was also working from home and bored at times. We started talking and realized we had quite a bit in common. Now we're best friends and also business partners (we have an Etsy store together). It would be pretty neat to find another friend.

I'm an atheist and pretty darn serious about it. If you are kind of on the fence about the whole god thing, I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spend most of my time working. I'm either looking for stuff to sell on Ebay, listing stuff on Ebay, or packing up things that sold on Ebay.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Noticing the weird and unusual. Today one of my big burly tom cats came skipping down the back yard like a little school girl. I did not know that cats were capable of skipping.
The other morning at the walking track, I noticed an older gentleman ahead of me on the track. He was wearing the same color and style of shirt as I was and his shorts and shoes looked pretty much the same as mine. I suddenly had the thought that perhaps I had slipped through time and I was walking behind myself. Or had I traveled back in time and was walking in front of myself? Was I here to tell myself some important piece of information? Or was it a complete accident? As I was gaining on him I wondered if there was something I should tell him; was there a message that could be transmitted from the past to the future that could make our lives better? Then I passed him and said "Good morning". It was just some guy with my same taste in clothing.

There's not really any evidence to show that anyone ever notices me.

A-books- Anything Science Fiction. Favorite authors- Robert Heinlein (Stanger in a Strange Land), Spider Robinson, Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, Barry Longyear, Orson Scott Card, Douglas Adams

B-movies- Again, anything Science Fiction. There are certain movies that I consider to be perfect (or at least nearly so). Star Wars 4 and 5 (or 1 and 2 depending on how old you are), Fifth Element, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Raising Arizona, Donnie Darko, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Cloud Atlas, Sucker Punch, Mr. Nobody and a few others that I'm not thinking of right now.

C-music- very eclectic- Blue Man Group, Bjork, Psychodelic Furs, B-52's, Enya, Bryan Ferry, Mannheim Steamroller...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I do without lots of stuff I used to think were very important.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now I'm thinking about the Mr. Potatohead that I found my goats with today. Where did it come from?, how did they get it? I have no idea. They do not have a credit card and they are not allowed to use the phone, so I can't figure out how they got it and when I ask about it, they just pretend it does not exist. I guess it's just another unsolved mystery.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At an auction looking for something to sell
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I don't know how to flirt. I don't think I received the gene. It used to bother me quite a bit, but now that I won't be dating anymore, it really does not matter.

you want to talk about art, or just about any other topic, I have the strange and uncanny ability to carry on a conversation on a variety of subjects. Or I can fake it pretty good.
