I am adjective, noun, and adverb.
My Self-Summary
I recently fell off my bicycle and fractured my pinky finger. Since
moving to Sacramento in January of 2009 I have rediscovered a love
of bike riding all about town. But I guess that'll have to be on
hold for the time being.
I work in the public sector in a job I adore. I get to interact
with fascinating people from backgrounds that are quite different
from my own. And I get paid to tell the government it's full of
bullshit. (Just ask, I love to talk about what I do.)
I grew up in the Bay Area and came out here for work. I've lived in
Oakland, San Francisco, Boston, Santa Cruz, Stockton, and
Claremont.
I've been a vegetarian since 8th grade. I try to keep up on
independent music and enjoy seeing shows when possible. I'm a huge
fan of urban hiking.
What I’m doing with my life
Still getting myself established in Sacramento. Commuting. Taking
on the criminal justice system.
I’m really good at
Making breakfast burritos.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, clients usually ask me if I've graduated high school yet...
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Mostly modern fiction. Recently finished "The Angel's Game"
by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, which was excellent.
Movies: Indie dark comedies. And some camp classics (Showgirls,
Serial Mom, Jesus Christ Superstar).
Music: Mostly Indie-Folk-Pop (Built to Spill, Sunset Rubdown, the
Mountain Goats, the New Pornographers, Menomena, Iron and Wine,
Mates of State, Final Fantasy, Patrick Wolf, Ratatat, Ra Ra Riot,
CocoRosie, Hot Chip) sprinkled with Top 40 and Hip Hop.
Food: As long as it doesn't contain meat or onions, I'm okay.
The six things I could never do without
1. The splint holding my fractured pinky in place.
2. The 4th - 6th Amendments.
3. Burritos.
4. Music.
5. Mother.
6. Friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Planning a trip to South America in February of 2010.
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting drinks with coworkers or driving into SF to see my Bay Area
friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I quit OKC about 6 months ago for no good reason, and now I've
joined again with possibly even less of a reason.
You should message me if
you like ponies.
