Hi! My name is Aaron and I live in Indianapolis. I work at a magazine as a writer and researcher and I like reading, nature, dorky random facts, hanging out and having fun.
I'm fairly liberal, not incredibly religious (I was raised Jewish, but am not practicing; I guess I'm not opposed to religion, just when people try to force their beliefs on others), I like sports (but not to the point of insanity), enjoy boardgames and love getting friends together for game nights, like to play guitar, love music, make lots of bad puns, am a coffee and hot food freak, and would rather be camping.

On a non-dating related note, I just joined a coed indoor soccer team that's desperately in need of more girl players, so hit me up of you're interested in joining a soccer team.

I suppose that probably depends on the person. I don't really speculate too much on such things. Lord knows what other people are thinking. I certainly make an effort to have at least a decent-looking appearance and bathe, so probably not something negative.

Shows: The Universe/Through the wormhole, the Simpsons, the office, True Blood, Earth/Life and other nature stuff, dorky documentaries, Bob Ross, anything on NPR (except car talk, 'cause I just don't care about cars), Dresden Files, Firefly, True Blood, Parks and Rec,
Music: All sorts. I've been on an old school blues and jazz kick recently. Favorites include Iron and Wine, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, Manu Chao, Pink Floyd, Norah Jones, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, 13 + God, Amy Weinhouse, The Beastie Boys (their instrumental stuff, not so much their 80s rap), People Under the Stairs, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Citizen Cope, Dr. Dre, the Dining Rooms, Outkast, Parliament, Pharcyde, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Fugees, yeah pretty much all sorts
Food: All sorts here as well. Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Ethiopian, American, Cuban, Thai, Barbecue; I pretty much just like food, unless of course it tastes bad. The hotter the better. If I had to pick a favorite, probably Mexican.

This is a tough question to answer. If you really think about it, we spend a lot of time thinking perhaps not the most interesting thoughts (e.g. it's really cold outside; I really liked that pizza and it tasted good; when this light turns green, I will move forward).
I try to keep a happy medium between deep philosophical meaning of life thought and 2nd grade humor (I don't care how old you are, farting is always funny). I do consider myself intellectual and reserve the right to think smart thoughts, but I recognize it's important not to take myself too seriously.
To quote the movie Dodgeball: I don't think I'm a lot dumber than you thought I'd think that I thought I was once!

It varies. Usually with friends. Or trying to take over the world. Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
I do play in an indoor soccer league every Sunday, and it is a safe bet that I will be sleeping in on one or both days.
