My name is Marc, and I a recent graduate from the University of Rochester (Class of 2011) I received my degree in Biochemistry and also did a minor in music. After I graduated I decided to stick around for a while, since I had many friends still in the area. However, they started to graduate and leave the area, so now I have a lot of free time on my hands and decided to give this a shot. Also, I've always wanted to go hiking and never really got around to doing it. I'm a sucker for scenic views.

Right now, I am currently a laboratory technician at Strong in the Biomedical Genetics department. I do non-embryonic research. We use fruit flies in order to study them. Yeah, that's right fruit flies. I plan on working for a couple of years and then hopefully go into a PH.D. program studying Biochemistry. I want to run my own lab someday.

I'm also trying to get into shape for the upcoming baseball season. I'm joining a league this summer, that plays primarily on Sundays.

Tae Kwon Do- I hold a second degree black belt, and I still currently train on a regular basis at the University of Rochester three times a week.

Drums- No, I don't mean drum set. While I was an undergrad I had the opportunity to take lessons at the Eastman School of Music. I primarily studied Snare Drum, Marimba, and Timpani. My favorite is Timpani, and I got quite good at it.

Movies: Skyfall, The Dark Knight, Fargo, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Shaun of the Dead. Any good Action/Adventure movie. I do like Horror, but not the gory stuff like saw. I tend to like a more suspenseful ghost story, with little gore.

T.V. shows: I don't have that much time for T.V. but I like Archer, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, and Family Guy reruns whenever they're on.

Music: Metallica, Eric Johnson, Green Day, Rise Against, Coheed and Cambria. I have a really wide taste in music. I like anything from classic rock to the one hit wonders of the 90's. I also like a little classical. I do not like country.

Family- they mean a lot to me and are always very supportive of what I do. Its a lot of fun whenever I am around them.

Friends- Fun to hang out with and keep me from going bored.

My Wii and PS3- I used to be somewhat of a gamer, I don't have much time anymore. I usually play on the weekends, if I have the time. Its okay to escape reality once in a while. Also my PS3 doubles as my blu-ray player which I use to watch movies on.

My job- The experience that I get from it, and the fact that I need to pay bills.

New York Yankees- I am a die hard Yankees fan. I tend to watch almost every game in a season. However, if I find someone on here, I'd be okay missing some games. My life does not revolve around watching yankees games.

The Indianapolis Colts- Huge Colts fan. I still support the team even though they cut ways with Peyton Manning. No bandwagon fan here. Also I think their owner Jim Irsay is clinically insane. Look at his twitter account.

Hanging out with friends, playing video games, or going out.

I'm really good at Guitar Hero. I may have played a little too much in college. Whoops.
