I was born in Plantation, Florida (where the grass is always greener), but I'd hardly say I was raised here. I spent the majority of my childhood in Memphis, Tennessee before stopping off in Houston, Texas for a few years on my way back to Florida, this time settling in Bradenton. It wasn't long before I abandoned the area for Lexington, South Carolina where I completed High School and started my college career at USC. In my second year, I left school and returned to Florida, yet again, so I could see what Tampa was like. One thing led to another, as they say, and before I knew it I had moved to Bradenton, then up to Tallahassee, and finally back to Bradenton.

I very much enjoy learning about people and the motivations behind behaviors. Professionally I've worked at banks, restaurants, hotels, video stores, and summer camps. I study chemistry.

When I think about it on a grand scale, I'm not doing anything with my life and I don't think you are, either.

I'm not very good at romance. I think it's because I talk too much, but my friends say it's because I think too much.

People ask me for help with computer repair, multimedia setup, and small construction.

I enjoy all forms of entertainment, although some may be more entertaining than others.

My book-club is reading the Hobbit, in preparation for the new movie. In my spare time, though, I'm still working my way through an Organic Chemistry textbook form 1940.

The latest movies I've enjoyed include Batman and Prometheus. I also saw Ted, but it was fucking stupid. I very much want to see Brave, but I haven't had the opportunity.

This summer I have had a lot of fun watching Breaking Bad, Futurama, Louie, True Blood, Weeds, Wilfred, and Workaholics.

When I listen to music, it's mostly Cake, Smash Mouth, Barenaked Ladies, Avi Buffalo, and Daft Punk.

I really love trying new foods. I steer away from super greasy stuff and try to avoid spicy entrees, even though I love them. When it's not American cuisine, I tend to pick Chinese.

I can do without just about anything. I've realized that there's nothing clever about listing basic human needs and I think it'd be inaccurate to say that I couldn't live without the internet.

My days are somewhat fluid. I keep odd hours and often have a tough time remembering whether what happened last night actually happened a few days ago or may be happening in a few hours. Time is a difficult thing to pin down.

About twenty years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and it bothers me every day of my life. I try not to be a whiny bitch about it, though.
