I do computer-y stuff :). I am married. I am poly. My life is generally pretty busy right now. One of my very close friends moved away recently, and I am originally from NY and I have a lot of friends there. I want to explore and meet some new people nearby.

I am a programmer / hacker / security / network / database guy. I occasionally send a patch in to some FOSS projects (not that often). I sometimes describe my job as a sort of electronic plumber trying to figure out ways to get data from A to B. I program in C and Perl on Linux mostly.

Computers, science, math, geeky stuff of many sorts. I think I am good at talking and listening. I like connecting with people and sharing experiences. I think I am good at that, too :)

Oh food, I love food. I miss the Pizza and Bagels from NY. I can be a real foody, but most days I want fresh foods, breads, and other starchy delights. I like exploring new foods, but I really dislike fish.

I love all sorts of music and I am always looking to discover more. I have gone to Gaian Mind in the past. I may go to Ultra Music Festival this year.

I am a huge science geek. I love physics. I read Nature. I have a degree in B.S chemistry and someday may go back for a PhD or start doing computation science-y stuff somewhere again. For now, I have managed to keep finding just interesting enough computer stuff to want to keep doing it.

I am a liberal. I prefer using the words 'Civil Rights' over specific words like 'Gay Rights' since I think it lets people pretend to themselves they are not Civil Rights. I think many policy issues aren't simple. I hate news stories that try and explain millions of votes or complex social issues with a single narrative of a hypothetical person. While I think its easy to be cynical, I think most people are actually much more thoughtful than they get credit for and blaming the failure of a reform on 'dumb voters' is unfair and a kind of abdication of one's civil responsibility to convince people. I think speaking up, advocating, campaigning, voting in primaries, volunteering is important.

Meeting people is awesome. I am into various kinky things. I have a diverse group of close friends and significant others. My chemistry is different with each of them some more kinky, some less so, some chaste, some lustful. Meeting new people is fun.

Wherever my crazy google calendar tells me! Could be dancing, partying, playing bridge, or sometimes just hanging out somewhere. I like to makes sure a have a quiet-ish weekend ever so often that is relaxing. Just hang out maybe playing games (card, tabletop, video, etc) or share some nice tea and chat.

Gosh, I am fairly good at sharing. :) I like sex and talking about sex. Its hard to embarrass me in small groups. I was a shy kid and that is still in there, so it is easy to embarrass me when I am in a crowd.
