I am funny, witty, and a bit devilish.

My Self-Summary

Should I write about myself as though I were a nice antique or more like a used car with a few to many miles on it? I always find it somewhat hard to sum up anything about myself in a few words or pages. People are just to complicated to sum up, but it seems I must at least try..so

Some times I can be over the top, but when I need to be I can be serious. I think of myself as a good listener and most of my friends will talk to me about their problems, which I then put in the vault.

I paint when I get the chance and I just started writing in the last year. I get focused on one or two things for a few months then I'll move to next. I like to learn about almost everything and my curiosity keeps me going. I just don't want to be one of those people on thier death bed who feels they got cheated.

I am more then just a bit of a geek. You can find me at a midnight showing of the new Star Trek movie or waiting in line to buy a new book the day it comes out. Reading is a big part of my life and I have a book in every room that I am working on. I also have a stack of books to read at work when I get the chance. I also like gaming be it card or board. In the last two years or so I've made going to the gym a big part of my day and I go almost every day. At this point I am hooked on the rush from working out and when I don't go I just miss it to much, plus it's really helping me sleep better and feel better. It's part of a big life change of taking better care of myself, which has been going well. It's going to be a life long war though and I know it, but I am ready to keep the fight going as long as I am breathing.

Well I hope that gives you an idea about me.

What I’m doing with my life

I've been working at USC for a bit now and I'll hopefully be there for a while as I get everything together and go back to school. I had my own game store by the columbia mall that I ran for two years. I really enjoyed my store and I wish I could have kept doing it, but it just wasn't working out so I had to close it.

I am not 100% sure what I am going to do in the next few years, but I do know that it will include going back to school. For what I am not sure. The things I like don't translate that well into a job format.

My goal for next year is getting back into school and knocking out some classes.

I’m really good at

To many things to list. You should never ask an ego maniac to list things he or she is good at!

The first things people usually notice about me

I am not sure what people notice about me. I do know that I leave an impression. It's rare that I've talked to someone for any amount of time and they forget about meeting me. I am one of those people that people have strong reactions about. You love me or hate me it's rare that it's neutral.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite everything changes. Some books and movies just stay with you or you can get different things out of them when you read them or see them at different stages of your life.

Books:

I'll always have a soft spot for Dune and The Lord of the Rings. I read anything that comes across my path. There are honestly more books that I want to read then I'll be able to get to in my life time.

Movies:

I like all kinds. I am not a huge fan of horror though unless it's over the top or really well done.

The Godfather 1 & 2, Boondock Saints, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, The Fifth Element, Star Wars 4-6, Big Trouble in Little China, High Fidelity, Good Fellas...the list could go on and on I'll stop there for now.

Music:

I like some of everything, but not to many country songs.

Food:

Food is a problem. I am still trying to change my eating habits and I've been doing much better. My basic plan is to quit eating crap and eat things that taste good and are good for you. I do hate peas and beans.

The six things I could never do without

I think we can do without most things. I am gonna give you a list of things I like a bunch or flat out love.

AC: I think it's about the best thing ever. Without it almost everything I like wouldn't be around.

Books: I love them what can I say. You can transport yourself into endless worlds or learn about almost anything from them.

Movies/TV: Just like books it can be so much. I am not to much of a TV watcher, but I do watch some shows online now and then.

Cars: (Things with motors that get you from point A to point B).

Family: Even though they can be a pain I love them 99% of the time.

Friends: Even though they can be a pain I love them 98% of the time.

On a typical Friday night I am

I take a nap after coming home from work then I go to the gym at 8:30 till about 10 then I come home and get on the computer for about a hour then it's time for sleep. Saturday and Sunday are my days to go hang out for the most part now.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can't spell worth a crap. It's one of those things that just doesn't click for me. I've put an insane amount of effort into this, but my return just sucks. I much prefer talking in person to someone then typing them a message.

I also like being at ground level. I just think it's safer. If you fall you don't have far to go.

You should message me if

You have something to say! :)

or you just want to get to know me and you think we may get along.
