My name is Ryan, and I'm 23 years old. I am originally from a little city in Tennessee known as Murfreesboro. So, I'm a southern boy at heart. I moved here to the Big Apple about 5 years ago to go to NYU. I graduated in May 2008 with a degree in musical theatre. Now, I live in Brooklyn and work every day to fulfill my dreams!

I am a waiter at two restaurants in the city. A little Korean restaurant near NYU called WaWa Canteen, and Charbonnel et Walker on the 8th floor of Sak's 5th Avenue. These are only around to pay the rent. My main job is pursuing my career as an actor/singer. Performing is my passion, and I will do anything to make my dreams come true!

Listening to other people, being a great friend, and making people laugh...

Books: The Little Prince, The Great Gatsby, Harry Potter series, Twilight series, Wicked, Prep, Perks of Being A Wallflower, How I Paid for College, and Attack of the Theatre People. (I have really grown up reading taste!) I just joined a book club to read "grown up" books and have enjoyed Middlesex, The Poisonwood Bible, Olive Kittridge, and The Abstinence Teacher.

Movies: Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, Connie and Carla, The Birdcage, Sex and the City, A League of Their Own, Finding Nemo, Mean Girls, The Chorus, Sister Act (I and II), Sleepless in Seattle, Love Actually, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Bring it On, and so many many more.

Music: Showtunes, Ella Fitzgerald, Billi Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Eva Cassidy, Michael Buble, and of course...my divas (Liza, Judy, Babs, and Bette!)

Food: Growing up...I was the pickiest eater in the world. I wouldn't eat spaghetti becuase it had tomatoes in it. But now that I've grown up, I'll eat anything. Or try it at least. But you can win my heart with some good thai food!

Working the closing shift, out for a night of mayhem in the city with my fabulous friends, or at home watching a movie with a glass of wine. Depends on my mood!
