Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just got back from a 5 week trip to Sri Lanka and India, working
on an upcoming documentary about elephant conservation. All the
pictures are from that trip, so they are literally about as recent
as they can get sans me picking up my iPhone right now and taking a
selfie while I'm here on my couch.
I took myself off the dating market for a while because frankly it
was just getting too frustrating. She'd like me but I wouldn't like
her, I'd like her but she wouldn't like me . . . it's been a series
of near misses. But I'm looking for a hit, and I'm willing to be
I'm not into games. I want to find a woman who is as crazy about me
as I am about her, and someone who doesn't leave me guessing about
how she feels. I want marriage. But I'm not so needy for it that
I'm willing to "settle", I am just in a mental space where I'm
prepared to make the necessary moves to be in a permanent
relationship. My days of playing the field were fun, but I am not
that guy anymore.
My dream girl is optimistic, nurturing, kind hearted, independent
and intelligent and open with her feelings. She's physically active
and loves the outdoors. She's patient when her man doesn't always
"get it" and realizes she doesn't always "get it" all of the time
either. Relationships are about trust and willingness to work
together for the common good of the relationship. Communication and
honesty are non-negotiables.
I tend to do better with women younger than me because I have never
been married, but I'm not the kind of guy that intentionally goes
chasing younger women. I don't care much about age, I care about
connection. I have no children, but am open to a woman who has them
if the connection is right.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a small video production company that affords me the
lifestyle I want where I can work hard and have time to play hard
as well. I set my own schedule. I mostly moved to Bend (two years
ago) for the cross-country skiing and outdoor lifestyle. I went to
a great deal of sacrifice to move here, so I'm taking the time to
become an active member of the community.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Performing music, predicting the weather (not kidding), scaling
hills on my XC skiis, and adapting to whatever comes my way.

and anything by Monty Python. Music is Beatles, Foo Fighters, Peter
Gabriel, Alison Krauss, all over the place. Food? I love everying,
but Curry, Salmon, Crab, and Tacos/Nachos make the list too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I had a near death experience. It changed my life. No visions, no
out of body experience, just a gratitude for breathing.
