My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love walking the city streets, exploring the next bakery, food truck, or some restaurant we've read about in the Village Voice, a blog like Brownstoner, or New York Magazine. I make time for music, theater, museums, films (especially documentaries) and culture in general. However, music resonates more with me than anything else.

I spend HOURS listening, chatting, and reading about music. I don't mind if it's not your favorite hobby, but be open to exploring a band you've never seen, whether it's Latin jazz at Lincoln Center, or indie rock in Brooklyn!

I'm passionate about my work and devoted to doing my best! it's important that someone special in my life feels the same way about their job, school, etc. It's a drag when a person just sits at their job thinking (or e-mailing) about all the stuff they "really want to be doing." It's a drain on everyone else.

I'm loyal, direct, and compassionate. The most important people in my life are the same way. I want to communicate and share my emotions with someone that isn't afraid to do the same.

There are lots of places around the world I look forward to exploring, too. This year was Barcelona, last year Rome, and next year it will probably be Brazil. Let's talk more about that stuff when we meet!

other than family, music is the most important thing in my life. 2011 highlights: PJ Harvey (both nights at Terminal 5!), Devotchka (both nights at highline!), Interpol (Radio City & terminal 5), Twilight Singers, Alejandro Escovedo/Jesse Malin, Wilco (THREE shows - 2 in central park, Letterman), Band of Horses, and much more. Before the end of the year: My Morning Jacket and Band of Horses at MSG, Josh Ritter at the Library, and Ryan Adams at Carnegie (if everything goes well on Craig's List). We can talk about the excellent stuff i missed (like Cut Copy!) when we meet. I absolutely adore live music. I'm passionate about all kinds of other stuff, too. I love going to great broadway show, and I want to go more. enjoyed The House of Blue Leaves earlier this year, and hope to attend more in 2012.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes catching up on reading (i love my New York Magazine and the local Brooklyn papers), or finally getting to my personal e-mails or stuff i didn't get done during the week, or planning a cool saturday in a neighborhood I have visited in awhile, or enjoying a dinner with a friend, or checking out a show.
