My self-summary
Worked in computing for nearly 30 years, took voluntary redundancy and horticulture course after short spell with IBM, and now work part time in the nursery of a garden centre. Live with mother, no children but a nervous cat who will give me a cuddle but desert me for the sound of a tin opener.
What I’m doing with my life
Working part time, running half an allotment, playing Scrabble, looking after a cat, doing sudoku and similar puzzles, occasional walking/sightseeing/botanical holidays. Favourite destinations Madeira and Crete, will always remember first sight of the Treasury at Petra on my first of several trips with Explore.
I’m really good at
Scrabble, play at Guildford club and in matches and tournaments. Growing cacti and similar plants - patience needed but results can be worth it.
