I've started work at a little hotel which will hopefully get a Michelin star this year. It involves pretty long hours but I'm hoping to meet some people to hang out with when I'm not at work.
I get told that I have good eyes, but this isn't true because I am quite short-sighted.
People also comment that I'm shorter than I appear to be, I'm not sure what they mean by that though.
I'll watch most things really but 80s films are usually better than anything recent....they have the best soundtracks! I really like Tim Burton's films or anything similarly interesting (Pan's Labyrinth, Labyrinth, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Coraline)...
I prefer box-sets though; The Wire, The Shield, Lost, Heroes etc. and comedy DVDs; Alan Partridge, Peep Show, Monkey Dust, Black Books, Flight of the Conchords.....I was also a little bit obsessed by the original version of Wilfred when I was in Australia and I can't understand why BBC 3 showed the re-make instead!!
I like all sorts of music, although not very much urban or dance stuff. The first 10 artists if I press shuffle are: The Buzzcocks, Queens of the Stone Age, Tiger Army, Spinnerette, NIN, Feist, Metallica, Bright Eyes, Neil Diamond (!?!), Bon Iver.
I have recently been listening to some Tim Minchin too.
I like most things to do with food and I'm lucky enough to get paid to cook all day. Unfortunately it does have to be ALL day and often at weekends. I love spicy food. Curry, Thai, Mexican. Anything with spices in actually.
