My self-summary
I am a guy who has lived well. I've made mistakes. I've had successes. I keep learning new things and have a feeling this is how life will tend to go.

I am happy, hopeful and thankful.

I love that I have amazing friends.

If I had to do it all over again up this point there are probably a few things I would change but overall, it has turned out pretty well thanks to a lot of faith in God, my family, my friends and myself.

Some subjects I like are real estate, world affairs, architecture, landscaping, and my puppy.

I am enthusiastic, insightful, and dependable

I’m really good at
I am really good at finding the humor in situations and sharing it with friends and even strangers.

I am great at cuddling and like to be the big spoon.

I tend to get the party started and channel my inner Jabbawockee shaking it like a Polaroid picture when I hear some good beats.

I am good at Karaoke, more so based on my enthusiasm over my singing skills. One of my favorite songs to karaoke to is "How Far We've Come".

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I just read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and loved it. Next up is Pride & Prejudice and Zombies. :)

Also, I have recently gotten into Philip K Dick and enjoyed his book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? It is kind of eerie how he wrote in the 60's about things that did not exist then but they do now. He was a real visionary.

X-Men comics and many things Marvel

My favorite movies are Cruel Intentions, Crash-the new one that takes place in LA, Not Another Teenage Movie, The Scary Movie Series, CAMP, Drop Dead Gorgeous, All of the Margaret Cho stand up, The Aliens Series....did I already say Drop Dead Gorgeous

My favorite music is along the lines of Owl City, 3OH!3, My Chemical Romance, Taylor Swift, Jamiroquai, All American Rejects, Angels and Airwaves, Snoop Dogg "Doggy Style" (a classic), Paul Oakenfold, Sarah McLachlan, Outkast, Gwen Stefani, Moby, ABBA, Missy Elliott, John Mayer, Simply Red, Ben Folds Five, Counting Crows, Panic! At the Disco, Gorillaz, Black Eyed Peas, Blink 182, Michael Buble, Kylie Minogue

The six things I could never do without
my family, my friends, my Blackberry, black boxer briefs, my favorite fragrance Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, and food...especially the rolls from Texas Road House with the cinnamon and sugar butter..yumm

The following is a story of one thing I can definitely do without.

The story is called How I said farewell to my appendix

Yeah, it is true I had to have my appendix removed.

So I went to work feeling a little blah. I
thought I had some indigestion and asked my manager if
I could take lunch early to run to the drug store and
pick up some Rolaids. I went to Walgreen's and bought
some Rolaids and took an extra strength dose and
proceeded to feel worse. Finally I went to my manager
and told her I needed to go home. She said that was
fine and wanted to let me know how much sick time I
had available. The pain was so much I just started
crying and she asked if I could drive. I told her I
didn't think so. She offered to take me home but I
told her I would have someone pick me up. I went down
to my car thinking maybe I just needed some fresh air
and that I was just being a baby about something I ate
that wasn't sitting right. In my car the pain was
getting worse. Luckily, I wasn't driving. I called my
mom in tears and asked her to pick me up. By the time
she got there I knew something was really wrong so I
had her take me to the closest hospital emergency room, which is right down the street from my office.

There was a huge line in the ER. The nurse could see
my condition was bad and I was put in front of the
other people in the ER waiting room. The ER doctor
came to my room quickly and did some tests and decided
I needed a CAT scan of my abdomen. The CAT scan showed
that I had to have an emergency appendectomy. I was
sent to surgery that afternoon.

I had to spend the night at the hospital and was
released Saturday morning. The appendicitis was bad
but the staff at the hospital were all really nice and
attentive. There was an overnight nurse with me who
was the most helpful woman. She would check in to make
sure the pain medication was still working. She helped
me get in and out of bed every time I had to use the
restroom. After surgery every little movement hurt.

Most of my weekend was spent in bed taking pain
medication every 4 hours. By Sunday night I was
feeling like I could probably go to work. The doctor
said if I felt like going to work I could. So I went
to work on Monday and have been getting better
everyday. When I took off the steri strip surgical
tape that covered the incision I saw the
incision was maybe 1.5 inches long and it was stitched
on the inside so there is nothing going through the
outside of my skin to make a nasty scar. The stitches
dissolved with time.

So that is the story of my appendicitis.

I can assure you that you never want to have a
appendicitis. It caused the worst physical pain I have ever had
in my entire life.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about my future and where I need to be and how I am going to get there. I spend a lot of time thinking about my country and what I can do to make it better. I think about the places I want to visit and the places I have visited. I think about my friends and what they are doing and the fun times we've had together.
