Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I brew my own beer, love cooking while drinking wine and listening
to the Rat Pack, and, according to my friends, make some of the
best pancakes in town.
I used to teach country line dancing, am working on learning some
spanish and I have jumped out of a plane but for some reason I have
a fear of hang gliding.
The great outdoors keep calling my name, but I do not answer nearly
as ofter as I should, however I play on a couple softball teams,
golf in a league and really want to take up kayaking.
My family is second to none and I am incredibly close to them all.
Not just parents and grandparents either. I'm taking about cousins,
aunts. uncles...that one person that keeps showing up to holidays,
even thought you know there are not related. (they are usually
friends of someone we know) We party with them all! My friends are
the same way. We all have a few odd balls but isn't that what keeps
the fun going?
My career kind of fell into my lap after high school and I love
what I do, but I am starting to look at going back to college. More
for something fun; not a need for a job. I can't decide between
underwater basket weaving or molecular bio-chemistry. I'll probably
land somewhere in between, such as restaurant operations or
personal fitness. Who knows at the moment, but it is fun doing the
So enough about me...what about you? People keep asking me what
"type" of girl I am looking for and I never no how to answer. I do
not really have a list of "must-have" traits, more of a "it would
be totally awesome if..." kind of things. You never know when the
right person will surface and you can pass them up if you are
following a shallow checklist. I prefer to follow my gut. If I see
a profile I like, i'll send a message. Your message to me sounds
genuine and sincere, I'll respond. There is no rhyme or reason, it
just feels right.
If you have made it this far, kudos to you, and extra brownie
points on a first date if we connect. :) (I'm still working on the
value of each brownie point, so I'll get back to you on what they
can be cashed in on) Shoot me a message if you are interested, or
even if you are not and just want to say "Hi!"
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working 2 jobs. One is my normal 9-5 as a Metrologist (bonus points
if you know what that means) and the other is a very flexible
part-time gig as a food stylist. Two completely different ends of
the spectrum. Don't let that fool you though, I still have plenty
of free time. When I am not working I am usually out with my
friends or family having fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, driving in the snow, eating food, breathing,
coloring with-in the lines, sarcasm, quoting movies, drinking beer,
cooking, laying tile, singing in the car and shower.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My kindness, I usually hold doors for strangers, always get the
names of my servers and bartenders, and occasionally buy the cup of
coffee for the person in line behind me.

Books: The Alchemist, The 5 love languages, The 4 hour work week,
the 4 hour body, Where's Waldo?, Dr. Seuss, Anything that is fun or
helps me improve myself.
Movies: Spaceballs, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Italian
Job, Oceans 11 (Both the old and new), Star Wars, Boondock Saints,
Princes Bride, Iron Man, pretty much any kind of comedy. Not a huge
fan of suspense movies.
Music: The Rat Pack, Dropkick Murphy's, Flogging Molly, Tiesto,
Above and Beyond, Oceanlab, Pretty much any Reggae or punk music.
There is also a ton of country on my play lists. I listen to
everything except total gangster rap and speed/screamo metal.
Food: Pretty much anything. I am very open to new foods. I recently
had octopus on my last trip to Costa Rica. It was awesome. If I had
to pick one food for the rest of my life, it would have to be
Italian. Nothing better than good, homemade pasta in a garlic cream
sauce. Sushi is a very close second.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Close Friends and Family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, what is the meaning of life, why hotdogs are in
packages of 10 and hotdog buns are in packs of 8, how much wood a
wood chuck could actually chuck, my investments...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...doing a variety of things. Sometimes just laying low with some
friends and playing games, other times, my friends and I are
downtown Minneapolis sharing drinks and some good times.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was very little, if I was upset I would close my eyes and
run around the yard blind. That ended the day I ran full speed in
to the broad side of my parents garage.
