My self-summary
Seattle native, born and raised in Ravenna, now living in Mountlake Terrace. A bit quiet, kind of a loner, very shy, socially awkward, sensitive, gentle, kind of nerdy, introspective, philosophical, intellectual, well travelled, well read/informed, information junkie, ex military, ex Alaska fisherman, spiritual, maybe a little too complicated/intense at times and tends to think too much occasionally. I like science, especially cosmology and theoretical physics, but am also interested in biology, geology, geography and anthropology. I also love history, especially antiquity. Hardcore walker and swimmer, excellent physical conditioning. Comfortable in my own skin, but to be honest I do suffer from moderate unipolar depression sometimes and social anxiety, which I know is going to be a deterrent for some people. I do best one-on-one or in small groups, and struggle with density and crowds, but am otherwise loving and affectionate, a good conversationalist and listener. I am not gregarious and am not out going, but tend to be private and enjoy solitude. Hard working, creative, good sense of humor, financially secure. I like to travel overseas regularly. I have a boat and spend lots of time on and in the water. I'm a tree hugger and I love animals, especially dogs. I'm not very aggressive and tend to be cautious. I respect people's space and privacy so I don't "hit" on women. I'm a wall flower and always have been, thus I won't be sending clever messages. Too shy.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, taking care of my folks, hanging out with my beautiful daughter and spending time on my boat every weekend.
I’m really good at
Being a parent and a provider. Listening. Fixing anything that's broken. I'm a handyman and computer nerd. Also very knowledgeable and versatile on a lot of different things. Extremely strong high stamina swimmer and hiker. Being analytical.
