About me? ufff...let's see where to begin...

It was a dark and stormy, wait. That's a different story.

I'm not perfect...not even close. I am also not seeking perfection.

Music has been a big part of my life since I was about 5 or 6. KISS was my first favorite band; oddly enough I've never seen them live. I love going to concerts and try to see as many as I can. I see a lot of shows. I'd really like someone who also loves live music and likes to go out a lot. Journey is later this week! (5/22 in San Antonio). While metal/hard rock are my faves, my tastes are all over the place. I'm also a bit of a 70s/80s music trivia buff.

Since tattoos seem to be important to some, yes, I have them...several. Well over 100 hours worth of work. Most of them you won't see unless I am in shorts or shirtless. Lower arms kept bare to preserve my career.

Hablas espanol? Hablame!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
the 4 Ws: working, walking, writing and (w)rocking out with my new band Eternal Champion. We only play a couple of times a year and just played in Chicago in April.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job, trivia (especially 70s/80s rock and pop culture), reading people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my awesomeness. *cough*BS*cough*

for whatever reason, people seem to like my beard
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books - all quiet on the western front, rock and roll autobiographies, Bukowski, Michael Moorcock

movies - sands of iwo jima, river's edge, stoned age, planet of the apes, classic horror (omen, exorcist, frankenstein, hammer films), b/w war movies (anything on TCM), anything with John Wayne, Bogart or Gregory Peck.

music - i'm all over the map, but i lean towards the heavier side of 80s metal, none of that hair band crap. Musical preference is not a deal breaker for me, just be in to something that's not dubstep.
Here are some bands that I love (read: obsess over):
Iron Maiden
Rolling Stones
Fates Warning (1st 3 albums only)
Al Dimeola
Men At Work
Thin Lizzy

food - sushi, mexican, cooking at home
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
concerts - here's what I've seen so far, not including local bands:
black t-shirts
blue jeans
the sun
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My recently departed cat
Upcoming concerts
Work, but only when I'm at work
The beach...and the desert...desolate destinations
Heading to Spain and South America
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There are no typical Friday nights. But sometimes you can find me either downtown checking out bands, at dinner with friends, a movie or home playing poker or just relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In the summer and fall of 1997, I played congas/percussion in a Jimmy Buffett cover band. ugh.
You should message me if
