As of May 3rd, 2015:

I like hobbies. I get wrapped up in thought, explanation, and ideas a lot. I love to think and create and most importantly share. I'm a bad story teller, but that doesn't stop me from sharing hilarious or weird experiences I've had, which I'm apparently super prone to. I love to take jokes too far.... Way too far.

We are our thoughts and our feelings, our triumphs and experiences, not our words. So let's talk and find out who each other really are. I'm not interested in small talk.

Hi, My name is Sean.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Concepting, writing, shooting, and editing creative video. Although as time passes, the hands-on aspects of that are being delegated out. So mostly creative concept and project oversight.

Also, traveling. I travel a lot.

16 countries, and 26 U.S. States.
And counting.

May I recommend Galway, Ireland; Stockholm, Sweden; Cinque Terre, Italy; the Suburbs of Amsterdam, Netherlands; Austin, Texas; and Oakland, California.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Derailing small talk, and keeping it real. I will do anything to get to something strange and wonderful in a conversation.

I wear my heart on my sleeve and want nothing more than to show you what I appreciate about you specifically.

I have incredibly thick skin. You're never going to upset me with sharing a feeling or thought. To be creative you have to be critical. To be critical, you have to be honest and fair. Especially to yourself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm apparently way more charming than I think I am. That seems to be a running theme lately. Their words, not mine, but I'll certainly take it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I do creative video production for a living, so keeping up on cool visual story telling has been a focus of mine the last year or so. The coolest things I've found in recent are 'High Maintenance' by Ben Sinclair and 'World of Tomorrow' by Don Herdzfelt. 'Whiplash' was the best movie of last year for sure.

I'm one of those weird people who loves watching movies over and over again. There's so much to gain from multiple viewings of good movies.

Give me a genre and I'll give you a great artist. I am a total music nerd and love a huge variety of artists. Lately some T.Swift, Death Grips, Kanye West, Sufjan Stevens, and Peter Bjorn & John.

I like to force people to pick favorite things, so here are my favorite albums in no order:

1. You Forgot It In People - Broken Social Scene
2. Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West
3. is this it? - The Strokes
4. Deloused in the comatorium - Mars Volta
5. Colors - Between the Buried and Me
Honorary mentions:
Transatlanticsm - Death Cab For Cutie
Yeezus - Kanye West
Kid A - Radiohead
Pinkerton - Weezer

Favorite book is probably Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, but am a gigantic fan of Hemingway and Bukowski's writing style. Let your audience feel the actions you give them.

I sadly don't read as much as I used to, and when I do I almost always prefer to reread an old book than start a new one.

I do podcasts if that counts?
Hardcore History, Biggest Problems in the Universe. I'm about 2/3rds through 'This American Life'.

'Serial' is a prime example of documentaries altering the story it is showing. I was once a huge fan, but now really distance myself from it.

Show me a good Mexican place and we'll be best friends, make me a delicious meal and I'll fall in love.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Self analysis
2. Expression
3. Any musical instrument
4. Photo/video camera
5. Short shorts
6. Self-deprecating humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My place in the world, how I'm growing and whatever aspect of a hobby I'm trying to improve at. If you're not learning, you're dead.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I travel a lot for work, and typically on the weekends.

I just moved to my own place by Lake Merritt, so socializing is becoming a huge necessity for me.

I can spend the evening by myself, or getting buck out with friends. Really depends on the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My biggest insecurity is looking like I don't know what I'm doing. That has shown itself the most in not feeling like an adult.

I believe in wearing my fears and insecurities on my sleeve and being as open and honest as humanely possibly to those around me but more importantly myself.

Liking 'Adventures' is the new 'likes to have fun'. It doesn't say anything. Be more creative than that. Give me something to work with.

You want a drunk letter written on a typewriter.

You want to! I like people, let's have a conversation. Tell me what you're passionate about and what makes you tick.

You want to be good to yourself and great to each other.
