I've been told I'm a great conversationalist. I don't do monologues
though, and it takes two to talk...
so write back!
What I’m doing with my life
Working at an architecture firm in Downtown Houston, and renovating
my home myself. It's a long process, but it's really fun and
I’m really good at
building things. I'm constantly tinkering with stuff. I've broken
more things than I care to admit, only to put them back together
(sometimes successfully!). I also fancy myself a good designer. The
reason I think, is my insatiable curiosity. I always ask questions
and I'm a good listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
my energy. I'm a very passionate person and I'm not afraid to show
it. It bothers me, the amount of people who are too cool to show
any interest in anything. They're always like, "Oh I heard that
band last year before you knew about them." AND?!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Haven't read a book in years. Feel pretty bad about it too. Not bad
enough to go to a book store, but bad nonetheless.
Favorite Movies? Anything by Christopher Nolan. I like movies that
have a lot of visual eye candy, but also leave me pondering
something long after it's over. I just saw Cloud Atlas. Definitely
have to see that one again. It had a lot going on, but it was 3
hours, so I'll have to give my mind a break before diving back
My favorite musician used to be Jamiroquai (What? Seriously?) I'm
still a sucker for anything funky with horns or claps in it. I'm
constantly updating my canon. Latest purchases, Daft Punk - RAM,
Yuksek - Living on the Edge of Time, Fitz and the Tantrums - More
Than Just a Dream, and Portugal, The Man - Evil Friends.
I have and will eat almost anything. As long as it's properly
prepared. Nothing still kicking, please.
The six things I could never do without
They should rename this the 4 things you can never do without,
because everyone puts Family and Friends first. I'm no exception.
The remaining slots:
A Felt Tip Pen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to make things better.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
It's not so much private, but this seems as good a place as any to
write this down. I like eyebrows. Not in a fetish-y way, but a
thick eyebrow on a woman is a rare and beautiful thing. For that
matter, I like gingers too. Again, the rarity thing. I think their
inferior genetic makeup keeps their survival rate low, which makes
them a bit gem-like. Diamonds in the rough, where the rough is
You should message me if
you have a good laugh, cuz I'm seriously funny.
