First things first: I'm in a polyamorous marriage to a wonderful man (sabrequill) who is my partner for life. We believe it is possible to love more than one partner at once...and do not necessarily see a need to become involved with the other's partner. I'm not interested in just sex. I'm interested in someone who challenges my mind and touches my heart for a long term relationship. I'm not trying to jump into things head first...I just wanted you to know where I stand.

I'm silly sometimes and serious at other times, depending on who I'm with.

I love creative writing and music.

I am a politics junkie and love discussions about politics so long as my discussion partner is able to do so without getting angry or offended or rude.

I'm learning how to cook in a healthy way and incorporate exercise into my daily routine. I find I really like both these things. I never thought I'd be a health nut...

I love to smile and I love to make others smile. I find great pleasure in the challenge of making grumpy people smile.

I'm nice to waitstaff and tip well. I was a waitress once so I know how important this is.

I talk to my cats as if they were people.

I can be impulsive but usually in a fun way.

I love road trips.

I love living in the mountains. I never get tired of their beauty.

I would really like to make some new friends. If you aren't interested in me romantically, consider me as a potential friend.

I'm trying to find a job as a peer counselor. I'm also getting ready to go back to school. I'm trying to develop a more consistent writing routine. I'm learning to hack linux. I'm being a mom.

Movies are special. I love Kevin Smith. I like Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill vol. 1 (Not too much of a fan of 2), I like the Professional, Mirrormask, Pan's Labrynth, the Dark Crystal, Princess Mononoke, Fantasia, Amelie, Serenity, Blade Runner, A scanner darkly, iRobot, I am Legend
