Well I could try to write up some cute, witty paragraph here, but it would probably end up sounding dull or forced, so I won't bother trying. Plus I'm finally getting around to updating this (see note about procrastination below ;) with the interest keyword thing and all; so....

I'm real easy going, I like having fun playing games on my PS2 (Burnout 3 ROCKS!!) and programming or working on computers (pretty much my life at the moment - yep, I'm a regular geek - though apparently not as much as I thought according to that test), watching sci-fi shows/movies (yes, I'm guilty of attending StarTrek conventions and getting casts' autograph, but I'm over that phase now [I'm a trekker, not a trekkie]), and messing with tech gadgets. I like classic cars, so of course I love shows like Overhaulin'.

And yes, I can cook and not starve myself, and quite enjoy cooking too!

I'm a bit shy, especially around a large group of people I don't know yet, but am quite at ease once I've gotten to know them.

I have kind of strange fascinations about dreadlocks, shows that discuss sex (but not propaganda like this), tattoos (watch Miami Ink whenever I can), investigative shows (Investigative Report, First 48, etc) as well as 80s music. Come to think of it, I'm big on nostalgia stuff - 80s movies (like "Better Off Dead", "The Breakfast Club", and a few others I can't remember the titles to), 80s music, 80s shows, 80s computers....

I have all 7 DVD sets of ST:TNG (yeah yeah, I've already said I was a geek, all right!?!), plus a few DS9's, each have about 19 hours of content; split in half, that's 8 hours a day. I'm thinking of having a ST marathon each weekend for 7 or more weekends, but I haven't had any takers - anyone up for the challenge? :)

Oh, one more thing: I really hate how people put the word 'sex' in their profile, in a pathetic attempt to get more attention to their profile! I mean, really! Do they really believe using the word sex will result in people doing a search for the word sex to find profiles that match the word sex and bring up their profile which contains the word sex?? ;)

I am kind, considerate, and funny... i guess

A programmer since the age of about 12, working on my freelance career and trying to make a name for myself. I'm also exploring music (learning bass - very part-time!), and have an interest in astronomy-related matters. I'm really curious, so I like to dig into things to figure out if I have a genuine interest in them.

Coming up with different way of doing things, which of course comes up mostly in my computer programming, but I also have a knack for explaining complex concepts as something everyone can easily understand... I can cook a few really good dished, and I'm REALLY good at procrastination so I have mastered the art of finding 'other stuff' to do than what I should really be doing (for example I've played Slime Volleyball on here far too much ;) But I do get things done, just not 'right away' (see note about easy-going above)

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, although when things are "good enough", then they're good enough. And that's good enough for me :)

that depends: with one or a few people:probably my small(?) french-canadian accent; with a larger group of people I don't know: perhaps that I'm kinda shy around people I don't know (assuming that doesn't prevent them from noticing me in the first place).

Books: La Guerre des Tuques (original book of "The Dog who stopped the war"), I, Robot (yes, the actual book)

Movies: A lot of Luc Besson films: L�on, La Femme Nakita, Wasabi; and of course my all-time favorite: The Breakfast Club (not a Besson film)

Music: Bon Jovi, Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow and other "real" artists that aren't slaves to the record companies' needs to have them look like sluts or whores with no real talent

Foods: Bruschettas, sushi, pastas, greek foods, vegetable dishes, home-made pizza, chili (hmmm) and of course I really couldn't claim I'm french-Canadian if I didn't say poutine.

Well, besides the usual air, water and food thing:

1. my friends & family

2. my computer with its broadband connection

3. my contacts or glasses (I'm practically blind without them!)

4. my MP3 playa, my Family Guy, Futurama and Star Trek DVDs

5. my PS2 and car games

6. last but not least, what ALL males can't live without - I'll give you three guesses ;)

(ok, that's really more than 6, please don't make me choose!)

And yes I can do without TV; there's far too much crap on it anyways.

Either going out for dinner and fun, or relaxing after a long week.....well, either that or stuck in front of my computer surfing/playing games/programming/reading sites/whatever... so anything or whatever comes up, really.

I try to log in about every other day, but often the OKcupid servers are so frustratingly slow that I just give up when waiting for the homescreen to load.
