I founded a tech startup as well as a non-profit organization. Working for myself is both exciting and nerve-wracking but I've not once regretted taking the plunge. Work aside, I run, play in a pool league, tinker with electronics, and do all the obligatory New Yorker things like exploring bars and restaurants with friends.

Books: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thones etc.), 1984, Yes Minister, Freakonomics, I could go on all day, I'm an avid reader.

Movies: Office Space, The Godfather, Ocean's Eleven, Pulp Fiction, Up, Wall-E, Hurt Locker

Shows: The Wire, Mythbusters, Dexter, House, The Office, Futurama, Firefly, Arrested Development.

Music: I'll listen to anything from rock to classical depending on the mood. I admit I don't actively seek out new music as much as I ought to so I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Food: I love trying out new food and will happily find something on practically any menu. That said, top favorites are Ethiopian, sushi, pad thai, Indian. It's hard to beat the occasional delicious juicy steak. I've also been cooking a lot more recently. I'll gladly make you dinner someday if you bring the dessert or help with the dishes!

Oh and you need nitrogen to form amino acids, DNA, protein and what not. Those are all good to have too. Beryllium? Don't need that. Hmm.

Update: I'm currently sorta busy with way too many things going on right now, so I'm on a sort of hiatus. As an experiment, I'm going to refrain from sending any new messages out, but will respond to every incoming message. This should be interesting.
