My self-summary
Ciara. Pronouced how my screenname tells you to do so.

twenty-one, lady (sometimes), bi(sexual, racial, lingual), reader, writer, thinker, former-drummer, baker, crocheter, knitter, seamstress, tattooed, intelligent, sarcastic, sadomasochist, second year political science/psych major whose intent is law school.

things that begin with the letter B are pretty rad (baking, biking, books, burritos, beards, banter, bonfires, babies, bisexuality, bdsm, baseball, Burroughs [as in Sean, former player for the Padres], Baldwin [Alec] etc.)

I'm a rather big fan of mustaches & beards. If you can intelligently discuss literature I will get along with you grandly. If you can kick my ass at Scrabble I'll probably curse at you but I'll respect you a whole lot more & your sexiness will more than likely increase. I've an attraction to men that are older than me & girls that are around my age, it's been a lifetime thing, I don't question it anymore. In men, my attraction is to those who double as a mentor, which I still do question, though I probably should just let life be. I find that the instances when I am highly percentage matched with a lady are few & far between.

Also, I have nothing listed under religion because I think of myself as the following: Taoist/Jewish/Non-Believer. The first because I love the Taoist/Buddhist approach to life, second purely for the cultural reasons (I feel Jewish. It's hard to explain).

I'm really logical & understanding. I like honesty. I will never hold your feelings against you because people shouldn't be blamed for how they feel.

If you want to get at me on FetLife, my name is seeareuh over there.

ALSO, if you are a male under 25 & we do not have more than an 80% match, please don't message me. I am not interested.
What I’m doing with my life
Both working & schooling full time. who knew it would be so god damn exhausting?? Currently attending Palomar College to transfer back to New York City, more specifically, CUNY Hunter, to get my Bachelor's in Political Science & Psychology, after which I am planning on going to law school. I'm a a nanny for a baby boy because I love babies! Within the next few years or so, my friends & I are going to open a bakery in downtown San Diego. It will be open late night & feature our libraries in the café & it will be adorable & successful.
I’m really good at
Kissing. Nonchalantly placing my hand on thighs. Breaking 350 in a two person Scrabble game. Parallel parking. Making friends/talking to strangers. Crafty things. Making conversations awkward. Being creepy. Arguing. Swooning over Alec Baldwin.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice, because I'm generally the loudest girl in any given room.

My bottom lip, because it's large & kind of just... sits there. Sometimes when I walk, I can feel it bouncing with each step. No seriously.

My smile, apparently. I never thought anything of it but I have gotten TONS of compliments since being on here. Not questioning it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oy, have you the time? I am always reading two or three books at a time and my top ten favorites are: White Oleander (Janet Fitch), The Sun Also Rises (Ernest Hemingway), Taming the Beast (Emily Maguire), The Road (Cormac McCarthy), The Crucible (Arthur Miller), Lolita (Vladimir Nabokov), My Sister's Keeper (Jodi Picoult), The Harry Potter Series (JK Rowling), Hamlet (William Shakespeare), and Slaughter House Five (Kurt Vonnegut).

If you looked at my Netflix instant queue, you would see I'm oddly obsessed with documentaries & scary movies. However, my favorites are American Beauty, Beerfest, Clue (Tim Curry & Lesley Ann Warren <3), It (more Tim Curry love), My Sister's Keeper, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (even more) (I go to Crazed Imaginations every now & again, it indirectly helped bring out the kinkiness in me), Scary Movie 3 (don't judge, it's rhpsfan91's and my favorite!), Suckerpunch (this movie sexualized young girls more than any porn I have ever seen & I loved every minute of it. Stockings, violence, lesbian overtones, helplessness, stockings... get at me), Super Troopers (I LOVE Broken Lizard so much), and We Live In Public.

I really like musicals (though I have no desire to sing & dance on stage) and my favorites of that are The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Book of Mormon, A Chorus Line, American Idiot, Hair, The Last Five Years, Next to Normal, RENT, Spring Awakening, and [title of show].

Right now I'm really into singer-songwriters, but in general I can tolerate anything besides most rap & RnB. A nice little cross section is Blink 182, The Eagles, Flogging Molly, Joshua Radin, Rascal Flatts, Rilo Kiley, Rise Against, She & Him, Speechwriters LLC, and Taking Back Sunday.

I loooove television shows (mostly because they're easy to become obsessed with: great actors+great writing=great show) and some of my favorites are 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Community, Doctor Who, Impractical Jokers, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Jon & Kate Plus 8, MythBusters, Saturday Night Live (I've been to the show thrice), & Scrubs.

Food wise? Burritos, popcorn, ice cream, sushi, strawberries, cheese. Those are what I call my "forever foods" because I could eat them forever & never ever get sick of them.
The six things I could never do without
Family: immediate, extended, & honorary.
Literature.
Journaling and other written creative outlets.
A never-ending quest for knowledge.
Tea.
New York City.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things that I don't think (should) exist (traffic, time, social stratification, etc...). Psychology. Politics/government. The human mind. How much I miss Manhattan/San Diego (depending on where I am, obviously). Why it seems I can only find Apple Snapple on the east coast. Argyle. Alec Baldwin. How many times I can say the word "meow" instead of "now" without getting caught. How I can successfully get on the show & win Big Brother.
On a typical Friday night I am
I just went through my calendar to see what kinds of things I do on Friday nights & among them are work, go to the theatre, see a show at a local coffee house, bake, friend's art show/open mic/party, baseball game, comedy show, see my friends make music at a bar, go camping, clean your room assface (I'm often verbally abusive to myself when I need to get things done).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Because I'm an open book & you can ask me whatever you want, I don't know what is considered private and what isn't, so I'm just going to list ten random and hopefully interesting things about myself that I think people looking to date me should know.

1. Just because I am open about my sexuality/sex does not mean I'm easy!
2. Burritos & tea over Clue (the movie, although I'm really good at the board game too) is my idea of a great date.
3. If I could go to school for the rest of my life without having to pay for it, I would in a heartbeat. I've an overwhelming desire for knowledge.
4. I have never slept with someone who was younger than 25 (that's my go-to "never have I ever" because all of my friends have).
5. I have quotes from two plays behind my ears (Hamlet & The Crucible, way bonus points if you somehow guess what they are).
6. I have a Tumblr but I don't quite understand the concept yet & most of my re-Tumbls are pictures of Alec Baldwin. And Ed Helms in argyle.
7. I really hated the movies Freedom Writers & The Blind Side and refuse to see The Help because they're very pro-white people. The movies are propaganda designed to preach the message, "Look at these underprivileged people of color and look what this white person did for them. Good job white people."
8. I have had more dreams about ocean waves in the past few months than I care to number & I don't like what the interpretation of that says :(.
9. The only physical cds I own are that of singer-songwriters (support local music).
10. The three episodes of SNL I have been to are the May 2010 Alec Baldwin/Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers (12hrs in line), December 2010 Paul Rudd/Paul McCartney (19hrs in line), and December 2012 Martin Short/Paul McCartney (16hrs). I have spent more time on sidewalks waiting for tickets to things than I care to admit (but will).
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 18–50
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals, casual sex
You should message me if
you think you'd get along with a sassy, intelligent girl who likes mustaches & debating & will probably make inappropriate jokes to you.

you can handle the fact that I mentioned Alec Baldwin five (this is number six) times in my profile & that I have an overwhelming love for him that will not be quelled until I fuck him (and even then it'll probably just grow).

you noticed under my favorite things, each section had ten items & was alphabetized.

you like the way an ampersand looks.

you own a plethora of argyle (no seriously, I eat that shit up).

you equate happiness with pantslessness.

you will correct my grammar not because it bugs you but because you want me to speak proper English.
