My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just moved to Eureka at the beginning of June. I'd lived in San Diego for 15 years, and it was time for a change. I'm trying to figure out a lot of things about myself and where I want to be in the world, and moving here is part of jump starting that process. Feel free to message me (especially if you're vegan/queer/socially conscious) even if you just want to be friends. I still don't really know anyone in Humboldt.

I love to explore, debate philosophy, politics, and theology, go to the beach or the mountains, and try new foods. I thrive on smart conversation, and love to learn new things. Basically I'm a good, caring person on a quest to grow as a human being, whatever that means.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spent my early 20s working as an Office Manager at a radical non-profit working primarily on Gay and Trans rights. It was fulfilling work, but as with all good things it came to end. I had a few jobs since then, managing an ice cream shop, working at a fancy schmany condo complex as a concierge, and now working at a Pharmacy here in Humboldt.

I like to make art, go on hikes, play board games, and I'm trying to introduce writing back into my routine. I've taken college courses on and off for seven years, and I have no clue where that's headed, if anywhere.

For now, I'm waiting till I've worked at my pharmacy for six months so I can start applying for Pharmacy Technician positions. I don't know if I'd want to do that forever either, but the pay is good and the work is interesting. After that, who knows...

For now, I'm just enjoying getting to know Humboldt and working on adding writing and yoga/biking back into my routine.
