My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Once I took a handwriting analysis test, using a "computer" that looked like a cheesy prop straight out of a 60's era sci-fi movie. It told me in no uncertain terms that I was a detail-oriented workaholic. I'm still not sure how to respond to that, but I feel it's relevant to the computers that will inevitably scour through my online-dating profile.

Young professional, working a full career and doing fun responsible things such as buying a car and house.

Looking to meet a real down to earth woman. Sorry, no astronauts or imaginary pilots.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
It could be said that I have a passion for all machinations. That may be the most creative/bullshit way I've ever tried to say I'm an engineer. I spend a disproportionate amount of my time creating various things, small enough to fit in your pocket, or large enough to fill a city block. Probably classified as a life-long learner.

Spending as much time as possible biking and hiking about. So, having intentions to be, but not very consistently. I am currently in the mindset that I should be in the best shape of my life, because... why not?

Hobbies, including: music, building various robots, do-it-yourself type projects, mentoring students, and traveling to local parks.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making inanimate objects, highly animated. With science!

Driving 70 in a 65.

Brevity
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One of my best friends once told me "You look like H&M". I dunno exactly what that means, but they know me pretty damn well, so something something David Beckham in underwear.

After seeing some of the bibliophile lists on other profiles, I realize: I am not a voracious reader.

This section always seems to turn into a list that gets skimmed over (lets be honest, that's at best) so instead:

The last three concerts I have attended are:
Queens of The Stone Age
Metronomy
Trampled By Turtles/Doomtree

The next concert I will be attending is:
Jeremy Messersmith

If Foo Fighters come 'round again I may have to finally see them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm not a large proponent of this writing prompt. How about:
Six People You'd Love to Meet Someday
-Shigiru Miyamoto
-Dave Grohl
-Elon Musk
-Adam Savage and/or Jamie Hyneman
-Grant Imahara - Really, I just want to use this section to state how much I appreciate the Mythbusters team.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whichever project is currently occupying my cranial cavity.

Being incredibly hungry.

How badly sarcasmfacitiousness comes across in text.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Swearing and/or driving.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I spend far to much on learning, in one form or another.

I may actually be a functioning adult looking for a committed relationship with an equal.
