I am nostalgic, eccentric, and intelligent.

My Self-Summary

I love alliterations. I love writing sonnets. I love wearing vintage. I love Pop Art. Just ask my tattoo artist. I have a Marilyn Monroe room in my house. I also have 45 pairs of Chuck Taylors--all high-top. Just ask my cats--who witness the mayhem and the madness. I am an enthusiast. I am an extremist. Yet I wonder . . . if N is still for Nostalgia?
Because then, B is for Bling and G is for Gangsta like K is for Killa. I must stop myself now.
By the by, my sister is making me do this . . . she tires of the guys I meet at the most random places . . . I suppose.

What I’m doing with my life

I like to fool myself into thinking that I am exactly where I want to be . . . teacher by day and graduate student by night. I aspire to use my Art degree more in the future and my English degree a bit more to my pleasure . . . but I ramble and become distracted quite easily by the shoes of my students. Like Warren G., I am trying to regulate.

I’m really good at

Pardon the cliche . . . but I would have to say . . . keeping it real.

The first things people usually notice about me

I would have to state the obvious . . . my colorful tattoos and/or my shoes. Both are extremely fierce and likely to pierce your sight.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen--okay basically all the novels written by Jane Austen, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke, The Complete Sonnets of William Shakespeare by William Shakespeare and I could go on but opt not to . . . till later.
Tis later--Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, Bel Canto by Ann Patchett, Zofloya by Charlotte Darce and The Red Tent by Ann Diamanti.
Read them all or you willfully put yourself in the danger of (my friend says) being "dead to me."
Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink--hands down.
Ponder this: like any book or painting, music can move us in that manner--beyond words--beyond comprehension--beyond knowing what just happened. From Pop to R&B to Rock to Indie to Alternative to Classical to Spanish, I am moved.
Currently--Kanye West has taken me prisoner.
On a more random note . . . I don't eat my friends . . . so yes vegetarian I am. Or rather try to be.

The six things I could never do without

To be quite honest . . . my tattoo artist, my ever-so-judgemental family, my crazy sexy cool friends, my shoes, my Jane Austen books, and my faith.

On a typical Friday night I am

I am a big fan of movies and mayhem--wherever and whatever it may be.
