I'm summarized by saying that I am me. I find it inheretically wrong to "summarize" a person ... there's too many little things about someone to define him or her. The more you write down, the more detailed it gets, the more wrong it is. Because suddenly, after all this detail, you feel you left out 500 others and people will think, all you are are only the things you wrote down.

It's much better to just meet a person and find out.

Waking up, driving to work, driving home, eating, breathing, reading, swimming, worrying, thinking, laughing, being silly, being angry, talking, enjoying a long drink and bimbelstirz (ok the latter is probably just a little Dada excursion to the weirder areas of my brain ... a lapse in my thinking).

Other than that, I'd say my weird, dry humour & forgetting my swimming glasses for the pool is where I excel at. And I'm very good at not being good at various things as well.

Uh, honestly, there are way to many to list and I am bound to forget to list quite a few of them (which will make them angry the next time I try to read or watch or hear them I guess :) ). But among some of the ones I like are:

Books: LOTR, Discworld series, Potter, Hyperion series, Ian M. Banks... fantasy & sci fi in general. But I do enjoy others as well. I like diaries/documentaries on foreign cultures (People staying in Japan etc).

Movies: LOTR again, Silent Hill, Lost in Translation, Monty Python, The Ring, Nemo, American Beauty, Braveheart, Potter, Watchmen, Sin City, The Big Lebowski, Johnny Darko, Secretary, Trainspotting, ..

TV: Monty Python, Little Britain, Good Standup Comedy, Dr. House, Two and a half Men, Torchwood, Southpark, ...

Games: Mostly either good CRPGs (Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age, Two Worlds, The Witcher...) or some nice RTS.

Music: Linkin Park, ASP, Sting, Police, various Trance, various Classics, Loreena McKennit, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Evanescence, Moby, Ladysmith Black Mombazo, Yello, Röyksopp, Rammstein, Moya Brennon, Depeche Mode, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Massive Attack ... for dancing, anything with a hard electro beat.

Food: Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Libanese ... in fact, anything wild, new, spicy (but not too hot).... Food is one of the most interesting bits of a different country, I don't understand people eating their Schnitzel everywhere at all. I could eat Thai curries, Sushi, teriaky beef, indian curries etc nonstop (welllll, I have to pay some attention to my weight, though).

Funny books, good food, my PC and the Internet, people I care about and freedom.

Swimming :) One of the days I do that. I usually enjoy being at home that day, looking forward to sleeping in the next day (I love that....). I'll simply grab a book, surf the net or watch a nice movie with a nice glass of cuba libre (or not .. I don't drink much, really) ... and that's it. TGIF! :)
