I am spunky, funny, and deeply superficial.

My Self-Summary

I'm pretty much an open book, if there's something you want to know about me, just ask. Other than that I'm just a woman trying to figure out her life and having a good time while I'm at it.

In the meantime, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, surfing the net, reading, writing, and doing all sorts of random things. I like melted ice cream, garlic-y things, and I have two gold teeth (which makes me a pirate, not a gangster). Let's see... what else...

I'm a grammar and spelling freak (although I sometimes mess up myself however rarely). I'm proud of my Italian and Irish roots. I love to travel and have been to several countries. I'd love to live in either London or Athens. I have 2 (technically 3) tattoos and plan on getting more. I often forget the one on my back is there.

I've got a lot more interesting stuff about myself to say on here, but although I'm conceited, I find it hard to brag about too many things. I don't want to seem too egocentric.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently I'm just working as a massage therapist/esthetician at a local salon and day spa. I'm going to go back to school hopefully this coming spring semester to work on my degree in World Religions with a minor in Anthropology. I might even double major if I'm feeling ambitious.

I’m really good at

Playing different instruments, drawing, connecting with people, and basic human motor skills. I'm at least mediocre in almost everything (with the exception of anything having to do with numbers) which is why I changed majors three times. I live up to the stereotypical "Libran" in my indecisiveness.

The first things people usually notice about me

My presence? And then probably my eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:- The Vampire Chronicles, The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy, The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Digital Fortress, Deception Point, The Watcher, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Zombie Survival Guide, Shakespeare, Harry Potter, history books, blank books/journals...

Movies:- Snatch, Rock n' Rolla, 300, Paris je t'aime, Le Grand Destin d'Amelie Poulain, Chocolat, Strictly Ballroom, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shaun of the Dead, Just Friends, Van Wilder, Wedding Crashers, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Moulin Rouge, Master and Commander, Pirates of the Caribbean, Two Weeks Notice, When Harry Met Sally, Gross Pointe Blank, Braveheart, Gladiator, Dracula 2000, Interview with the Vampire, Galaxy Quest, Practical Magic (mainly action, fantasy, romantic comedy, and independent).

Music:- Mindless Self Indulgence, Gotan Project, Weezer, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Alanis Morisette, Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Violent Femmes, Marc Broussard, Deerhoof, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, The Muse, Fall Out Boy, Celtic, Enya, Indian, Gypsy Kings, Latin, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Bally Sagoo, Gogol Bordello, Ravi Shankar, Dean Martin, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, A Perfect Circle, Monster Magnet, Ludo, The Mars Volta, Andrew Bird, Adele...

Food:- Italian, Greek, Asian, pretty much anything that is vegetarian friendly (I still eat eggs, milk and butter, I just don't like dead flesh).

The six things I could never do without

Human contact, my friends, a place to live, food, clothing, and my computer (with internet, of course).

I spend a lot of time thinking about

All sorts of weird random things. Mainly how much I wish I were a pirate.

Also, my plan to survive the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

On a typical Friday night I am

Getting home from work, cooking myself dinner (or ordering it), drinking a beer (or three), possibly hanging out with someone, and then sleeping.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have an in-betweeny belly button.

You should message me if

You actually are interested in me, you're not a creepy old man looking for a massage with a "happy ending" (seriously, if I find out who you are, I'll make your life very unpleasant), you're not looking for a third person to add to your relationship to "spice it up," and/or if you can actually spell. I refuse to reply to messages that say, "OMG U R SO HOTTT!!1! WILL U B MY GF?!?!"

So basically if you're a well-educated woman or man looking for a person to connect and be friends with (and possibly more) then go ahead and message me. Or if you're hot.
