My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an artsy/nerdy/outdoorsy kind of person, I have a little of every strand in me. I hike, camp, write music and books, watch all the nerdiest tv shows, and work as a Visual Basic programmer and mathematician. I think I am intelligent because I have read a lot of old books.

I judge some people solely based on how they feel about Radiohead's album Kid A. I love climbing anything there is to climb, though I'm not fantastic (5.11, V1 at my height a few years ago). Muse is my very guilty pleasure and I can play the whole song Butterflies and Hurricanes on the piano like nobody's business.

My ultimate goal in life is to become Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park. But once you get through my Goldblum facade, I'm a pretty nice, down to earth gent. Send me a message maybe?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an actuary/programmer for a non-profit-which-shall-not-be-named :P I'm developing super top-secret computer programs and going through a hugenormous number of math exams.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing novels, playing the piano, reading books and hiking/climbing/camping.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall but small framed. I also have blond hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Currently I am in love with David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest. Also I like Descartes. Shakespeare is good, but often I think he's saying something I don't get. On the lighter side, I love Philip K Dick and Ray Bradbury, and the odd mystery now and then.

I like the same kind of movies, lately I've found classic animes like Ghost in the Shell to be fun, I love Wachowski Brothers films, Edgar Wright is probably the best screenplay writer and director currently alive, and Jurassic Park will always be my favorite movie of all time. Don't talk to me about the sequels. Seriously I'll beat you up.

Radiohead is my first love, though my other favorites change often. The more constant favorites are Modest Mouse, Blur, The Dodos, The Knife, Fever Ray, Hot Chip and The Saint Matthew's Passion by Bach... I could go on forever.

Thai food. Also -- pasta dishes.

Games I like are mid school as opposed to old school, the ps1-ps2-PC generation of Silent Hill 2, Mass Effect, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy V-IX, and for when I'm with friends, I like board games like monopoly, risk, or Race for the Galaxy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, music, friends who can see past my intellectual / sarcastic facade, humor, people who can count.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The ontological status of my sensory existence. Being suspended out over the Nothing. How gays can fight for marriage equality. Whether my ideal person is out there. Whether love is imperial, experial, or mystical. What the tastiest kind of alcohol is. Ect.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Typical? Depends on the time of the year. I like writing in the winter, reading in the summer, sometimes I climb trees. Also smoking hookah is wonderful. Only kind of tobacco I will ever touch. Drinking at my friend's house. Going to a movie. I'm always open to new ideas, or spontaneous adventures. One time a friend and I blew bubbles in Penn Circle, that was exciting. We didn't get mugged!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think belly buttons are sexy. I don't have secrets.

My Ideal Date is someone who's good looking, takes care of themselves, likes the outdoors, has ideas for adventures and doesn't just say "IDK, what do you want to do?" (coffee? museum? hike? are we stuck in a Beckett play?), is in Pittsburgh, and has a direction in life. Otherwise I don't really have "a type" and I'm still learning things n' stuff.

I like to respond to most mail I get, but sometimes I'm busy and sometimes the email wasn't enough to spark my interest. Instead of "Hi! How r u!" I will more likely respond to "Did you know Jeff Goldblum is an accomplished Jazz Pianist?" Why yes, I did know that! What a conversation starter.
