I am kind, compassionate, and bright.
My Self-Summary
I am a
bright
accomplished
guy
passionate
about my profession (
psychology) and the outdoors.
I recently moved to the Twin Cities to start a new position as a
faculty member in a doctoral graduate program in clinical
psychology and part-time in private practice.
What I’m doing with my life
I have been working with troubled people who are less fortunate
than myself since I graduated from college. I have developed and
provided clinical leadership for several programs for individuals
who have developmental disability and/or who have experienced brain
injury. I combine my interests in
neuropsychology,
rehabilitation and
psychoanalysis to really work
with people in depth and in a very personal way.
Now I have left that work and have gone into teaching. There is
something special about being able to inspire students in the
classroom and to give to the next generation which I find very
rewarding at this point in my life. I'll also maintain a part-time
private practice.
Photography, especially nature and landscape photography is a
long-time hobby of mine since childhood. I love to take roadtrip on
backroads, soak in the scenery and find new intereseting off-the
beaten path kind of places to check out. I also enjoy film, music -
especially live performance. I'm starting to get involved in video
production as a hobby now.
I’m really good at
My work - teaching, assessment and psychotherapy.

Compassion ... and I'm working on

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Reflecting back on my day and wondering the way I can be more
compassionate, caring and wise.
The way for everyone to come together so we can improve make a
difference for the better.
Warmer weather!
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Ask me anything. I'm game.
You should message me if
You are a bright woman with spirit and a passion for living life
fully. Someone special who would challenge me as Lincoln said:
"Towards the special angels of our nature." A woman who cares and
gets it. Some one who would appreciate the following quote:
"The only way we may come to know our desire is to see it reflected
in the gaze of the Other." Lacan
