My Self-Summary
I am a very curious person, I get bored easily and I love learning
new things, whether new or old. The shortest way to define me is
"geek". I'm a technophile, I love anything technology related,
specially aerospace, I often watch NASA and ESA
launches.
I also enjoy studying languages, some of which I try to actually speak. Currently I am learning Italian, since I come from an Italian family, like many (most?) people in my country.
Another thing I enjoy is traveling, I know a good deal of my country and a little bit of Europe. I would like to get to know most of Europe and a good deal of Africa as well. Other places do not interest me as much, but I love traveling even if not to one of my preferred destinations.

What I’m doing with my life
I am saving to move on to a better life elsewhere. I am a computer
programmer and enjoy it very much.

I’m really good at
Geeky stuff, computers, technology, languages. Anything non-physical,
except walking and untangling strings, which comes in handy more
often than one would think!
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, which is somewhat ironic considering I'm near-sighted. My
looks are not important though, my most defining qualities are
definitely not those that can be seen.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I read too much to name a single thing, but I usually like books
that describe different universes and show different ways of
working out things. Lately I have been reading 'famous' authors:
Sartre (La Nausée), Machiavelli (Il Principe), Flaubert (Madame
Bovary). I have of course also read a lot of science fiction, hard,
soft, whatever.
As for music, I listen to pretty much anything, I prefer jazz and blues, but it depends greatly on my mood. I like to listen to The Beach Boys when I'm depressed, they are a great medicine.
Food? You mean there is something other than pizza? Lately I have been learning to cook a few simple things, like ham and cheese omelettes and panqueques with dulce de leche (a kind of crêpe very popular in Argentina). My friends seem to like the way I cook, but I attribute that mostly to the fact that they seem to eat too much junk!

The six things I could never do without
Reason. Everything else can be derived from it. Well, chocolate and coffee help. And pizza, never forget pizza.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Improving everyday things. Faucets, doors, spaceships, whatever. I
just like designing things in my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
With friends, eating pizza. Sometimes just eating pizza, it is an
old family tradition which I make very sure to enforce! Friday is
often a day dedicated to relaxation, so I do not go out often on
Fridays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I do not think I keep much private, but that does not mean I am
easy to get to know. I sleep with a sword under my mattress (the
fact that I have nowhere else to place it might have more to do
with it than any paranoia).

them is ok!) and are curious about everything.
