am an unabashed, opinionated, total music nerd. It's what I've spent the majority of my free time & money on, and how I've connected with most of my friends (and previous girlfriends)...

am a voracious reader and go to the library once a week to pick up the next hold that's arrived...

used to be a college radio dj (WXYC); currently the calendar editor for threeimaginarygirls.com...

don't ever want to work in politics, but I read, discuss, and analyze the issues and candidates constantly (local, national, international). I love a good debate & believe in a liberal, progressive platform...

have got a great sense of humor (dark), and dry sarcasm does pass my lips every so often (yeah, a bit of a smart-ass)...

love good conversations, especially over whiskey...or coffee... or beer... or my homemade blackberry brandy...

test out as an INTJ/INTP and have no cause to argue the results...

am definitely a romantic at heart...

like to try new recipes, excel at quite a few dishes, keep an online recipe box on epicurious.com (ask nicely & I might share), and can generally be pretty useful around the kitchen (or grill, in the summer)...

keep (restaurant) kosher, so i can be as finicky as a vegetarian, but also occasionally crave a burger from red mill...

am always up for bowling (r.i.p. Sunset), pinball, tennis, bike rides, exploring the city, drinking, or anything music-related...

enjoy exploring the city, road-tripping around the area, and want to travel more...

make an exceptional old fashioned (yay bourbon!) & enjoy messing around with recipes for new cocktails...

am generally a happy person & meeting someone new makes things all the better...

still don't know what i want to do with my life, but I'm enjoying trying to figure it out.

a biotech job that pays the bills (and my small part in helping people fight cancer), reading a lot, hanging out with friends, going to shows, doting on the cats, co-hosting bar trivia at Old Pequliar every other month, collecting comic books & co-hosting The Backroom Comics podcast, editing the TIG music calendar, drinking at Moon Temple, purchasing more small-batch bourbon, cooking up a tasty meal, checking out various happy hours around town, going to the Wallingford or Ballard Farmers Markets, trying new beer at Bottleworks, hanging out with my awesome little niece

I like playing tennis in the summer, and have yet to find a winter activity equally enjoyable and as healthy

Keeping the beard trimmed also seems to take up a bit of time each week ;)

I despise karaoke.

**Found the Cotillion Records box set of soul 45s! Also, many attended many events for Seattle Beer Week. One more weekend to go...

putting together an amazing mix cd or just recommending a new band, 90's trivial pursuit, bowling, listening (so I've been told), making blueberry-chocolate chip pancakes, being a gentleman... and other private things which would be ungentlemanly to list here ;)
