Trying to take big bites out of life. Got the chance to move to
beautiful Delray Beach so I took it. Yeah, I'm a Midwestern guy
from St. Louis. That means I appreciate a good conversation, a good
chase, and someone who appreciates my kindness and chivalry. I
think of myself as a nice guy with high standards. Had a mom that
raised me right. Still getting used to the area, but def don't see
how I won't be happy here.
I have two degrees. One in Hospitality and Restaurant
administration. The other is in Communications with a Speech
Emphasis. That means I can either run your restaurant or talk about
running your restaurant. I choose to bartend because it frees me up
for traveling and enjoying/having downtime. Eventually, I'll use
those degrees I'm still paying for.
What I’m doing with my life
Squeezing every last blast/adventure/near death experience out of
life. No time for Debbie downers. Eat right, respect your body,
give your soul some attention, too. It's your strongest muscle. It
may not all work out like you wanted it to, but at least you found
a peaceful place to watch it all unfold.
I’m really good at
Laughing at the worst times. I'll be there to help you up, but I'll
need a little time to collect myself after you just busted your
ass....(In the physical sense, of course)
Finding the silver lining. Loving my family and friends. Looking
forward to tomorrow.
I've also been told I'm a great story teller. I'm also unaware of
when people are done listening to me and I continue for a while.
The unawareness I think makes me a great story teller....to
I refurbish furniture as a hobby. It's my artistic outlet and it
makes for great gifts to people and decorating my place.
I also consider myself a writer of sorts. Getting things out on
paper is a very therapeutic way to heal and discover myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
The hair and stubble. I know it's not the 'style' down here, but in
gonna rock it anyway. Say something funny and you'll never forget
my laugh. I'm also pretty tall.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
If you hate Star Wars shut your phone off. No, throw it accross the
room. Better yet set it on fire. Not the biggest Lucas fan, but I'm
definitely sticking my neck out here on a dating sight leading with
this bull shit...
Stanley Kubrick - Everything! (Issues with Eyes Wide Shut post
Wes Anderson "O.R. they?" -If you don't get that it's not a deal
breaker, but that's the stuff I find funny.
Mario Van Peebles (1 episode of Son's of Anarchy) haha
Love horror, cheesy, slasher movies.
Like a girl finding comfort in me during the scary parts.
Books: Love reading!
Chuck Pahliniuk, Christopher Moore, Arthur C. Clark, Walt
I love live music! Almost doesn't matter the type. If you sound
good live I can get into it. Played in a few reggae/ska/punk bands
in my younger days. No worries, pulled all the piercings and got
the hair dye issue under control 10 years ago.
Food: Put it in front of me and it'll be gone. Have appreciation
for the finer things, but find functionality trumps fancy.
The six things I could never do without
2)My family. (This is in no particular order)
4)The beach (recently added)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ways to prank people I love. Ways to talk people out of talking me
out of pranking people I love. Then, those people find out the
prank is on them.
What good thing can I do today?
On a typical Friday night I am
I can range from a couch bound Netflix binge watcher to an all day
hike fest in the hills. If you can detach my ass from the couch,
90% of the work is done. Then, we race!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My socks HAVE to match. I can almost feel how angry my feet are
when they don't. That's not my fault. It has to be genetics.
You should message me if
You get even one of my jokes. Even if you grinned a little because
I was trying so hard. I'll take it! My humor is my best filter for
avoiding snobs and tight asses.
Not interested in jumping into anything too quick. I enjoy the
social aspect of meeting new people and getting to know them. I
really enjoy the company of an interesting woman.
