I am easily amused, easily distracted, and - ooh, shiny....!.

My Self-Summary

Fortunately I'm also capable of staying focused, and have even been known to go on all day sewing marathons when I need to. My being easily distracted is probably because I can find just about anything interesting and like taking chances to learn about and do new things.

What I’m doing with my life

Once upon a time a girl went to University wanting to learn about international business, and planned to become a rich and powerful president of some impressive company. Luckily after a couple years she realized that none of that was important. Economics, business law and all those other classes were intellectually stimulating but what she really wanted to do was something creative, and she didn't really get a sense of accomplishment unless she was making something.

So she moved to Seattle to start seriously studying something she'd always done as a hobby, and signed up for apparel design classes. At work she started working out in the shop instead of in the office so she could start building with metal instead of Excel.

I’m really good at

sewing, snow skiing, spending hours playing Rockband, making Thanksgiving dinner, organizing, doing my homework at the last minute, beginning Japanese (took 103 three times because there wasn't anything higher!), doodling on my notes, making drive cleats, cosplay, buying more books than I have time to read.

The first things people usually notice about me

Ah, to be psychic. I really don't know, but it probably changes a lot depending on where they meet me.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I think Daiso is pretty much one of the coolest stores ever.

You should message me if

you want to! A lot of profiles seem to say this but that's because it's true. And I don't want to scare anyone away by demanding that they need to be amazing just to send me a note. :]

Also, if you don't mind that I'm already a little behind on my messages so it might take me a few days to get back to you.
