I am Creative, Pensive, and Sarcastic.
My Self-Summary
I'm a costume designer. I get really excited when people ask about
what I do... which I feel is a major indicator that I took the
right path. I love music... If I weren't a designer I would
probably be doing something in music (the only thing I loved about
high school was being in the band... total nerd). I'm very organic
and am not the best at working on a tight schedule. I cater to my
inner child... I love to be silly and I don't take myself too
seriously. I love fashion, art, and everything creative. I love
shopping for other people... I'm the best stylist you'll ever meet.
I put effort into the way I present myself to the world: clothing,
hair, makeup. It sounds pretentious. But for some people, like
myself, their style is a direct representation of who they are,
what kind of personality they possess. I really dig fashion. It may
sound shallow, but I prefer someone who is stylish (without trying
;)).
Mind sex (ie. intellectual conversation) is a necessity... if you
can't keep my attention intellectually, you won't keep it, period.
This doesn't mean I'm a genius, but I do love to learn. I am
educated, and thrive off of knowing that there's more in this world
to learn and discover than I could ever imagine.
I know that I'll never truly know who God is, but I enjoy trying to
get as close as I can.
I smoke cigarettes and I wish I didn't... I DO NOT smoke around
people who don't like it. I do have respect for people that choose
to keep their lungs healthy.
I don't believe in changing yourself for somebody else... I think
improving oneself is a constant battle that we all get to enjoy.
*smirk*
I believe in energy. There's good and bad... I choose to embrace
good energy and try to shed the bad energy.
I may not be the most adventurous person in the world, but I'm no
prude, either. I don't think I'd be a very good creative spirit if
I didn't take chances every now and then.
I'm no swimsuit model (even if I were skinny, I'd still be WAY too
short). So if you're looking for someone with a perfect body, I
would find another page to look at.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT LOOKING TO HOOK UP. thank you.
Random Thought of the Day: Is it just me, or do some people look
like they are TOTALLY lying about their age on here? I see some
pictures and think "There is no WAY that this dude is only 30!".
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of
Fine Arts in Theatre. I'm a costume designer. I want to spend the
rest of my life making beautiful things. I feel very strongly that
God put me on this earth to add beauty to it.
I work 2 retail jobs and I design and make clothing.
Oh, and I make people look amazing.... seriously.
I’m really good at
making people look good (apparently!), sewing, cooking (don't ask
me to bake... I'm not very good at it), making great food over a
campfire, making a fool out of myself, telling it like it is (which
is part of the preceding thing I'm really good at), over-analyzing,
being brilliant, surprising people, laughing at myself (most times
people find me funny because I find myself so funny... not sure yet
if that's a good thing!), creating (what I think are) beautiful
things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and my hair (so many people ask if I dye it: I do not)...
and the shoes I'm wearing (because I wear great shoes!). Oh, and
how short I am... it's a great conversation starter apparently!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Current playlist includes: Anberlin, Alkaline Trio, Fiona Apple,
Adele, Brand New, Emery, Something Corporate, Death Cab for Cutie,

Reider, The Wreckers, Michael Jackson, Prince, Alanis Morisette and
The Beatles.

by Chuck Palahnuik, anything exploring God/spirituality, and
escaping in a great fiction.

Dangerous Liaisons, Across the Universe, I Heart Huckabees, Royal
Pains, True Blood, Weeds, Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Fringe,
Glee.

cheeseburger. Mostly fresh and delicious, with the occasional junk
binge. I LOVE to cook. I make really great food, you'll see.
The six things I could never do without
~God.
~my sewing machine and all that goes with it (ie. fabric and thread
and notions).
~diet coke.
~friends and family (I have a really amazing bunch of
people).
~cold nights with bonfires and beer.
~thunderstorms.

~creating something.
~what God's purpose is for me.
~why the opposite sex is such a conundrum.
~money (sounds shallow, but being an artist just starting out,
sometimes it's hard to come by!)
On a typical Friday night I am
out to karaoke with the girls having a drink (or four) at our
favorite watering hole with our favorite DJ or staying in with a
book, movie or wordsearch (that's right, I said it).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I shave my legs with hair conditioner.
Oh, and why is it that almost EVERYONE puts here: "I'm an open
book, ask me anything." ??
C'mon, boys, everybody has secrets. Man up... at least admit that
you're not willing to admit it. There are some things you just
don't share with the entire world via internet. It's called
discretion and it's not the worst trait in the world. Just sayin'
:)
You should message me if
~you can carry on an intellectual/spiritual conversation.
~you're not going to try to sell me a fairy tale.

them.
~you know how to pursue someone... I'm tired of making the first
move.
~you're looking for a relationship... not a "fuck buddy".
