Warning: I am only in this country for another couple of months. I really like meeting new people and staying in touch, but if someone who is running away to the other side of the world is a no go . . . well . . . don't tell me because I might start to cry.

What I’m doing with my life

I recently graduated from Wesleyan University where I was honored by being the first male ever accepted. My first trip to China this summer was so good that I decided to make a multi-month return. I get money to do this for the sake of "human understanding and world peace," so I guess I have a lot to live up to! I am currently preparing to go back in the Spring to study the language more and find the leprechaun. For the next few months I will be studying for and taking the GREs as well as studying Chinese and developing my language software company.

My real passion is development economics and international politics, and I am exploring the many ways to satiate this drive.

I’m really good at

I ate bullfrog, snake, donkey, and ostrich. The last three were street foods. Jummy.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Due to my illiteracy, I listen to a lot of my books on tape. I have recently (the past 6 years) been focusing on nonfiction with a slant toward business and economic developmenet. I am currently reading The Idea of Justice by Amartya Sen. That being said, I also love the Harry Potter books, I Robot, and Ender's Game.

Movies I love: Good Will Hunting, Hotel Rwanda, Hard Candy, Usual Suspects, District 9, Inglorious Basterds, Independence Day, Primal Fear, The Devil Wears Prada (I'm hoping you won't see this if I stick it in the middle), Primal Fear, Blood Diamond, Moon, Fight Club, Troy, American Psycho, American Beauty, and American History X.

TV: Dexter, Boston Legal, House, and Scrubs are the favorites presently coming to mind. Who else thinks James Spader as an older, overweight womanizer is extremely sexy?

Food: Everything. As you could tell from above, I'm not a Vegan. Nothing against them; I just am not.

The six things I could never do without

H. Ross Perot (for the ears, of course. Not the politics), my brother, cat food, CO2 (who needs Oxygen nowadays?), Korean food, and socio-economic mobility.
