My self-summary
I no longer have a chicken coop. Remodeling the back yard and hopefully it will include a chicken coop in the future as well as a natural pool, and an off the grid art studio.
Took a break being a professor, back to my old, more steady job but I will restart my teaching career once I save some money, possibly publish something (web textbook), and after I get some art work/ music done.
I have also took up gourmet cooking. Obsessed with cookbooks, current favorite is Alain Ducasse's , "Nature." Also obsessed with fancy kitchenware. Love having dinner parties and am now part of a dinner party crew.
I am not as kinky as my questionaire proports me to be. I have a traditional hard working family kind of man side of me that my open minded answers do not convey.
I am open to marriage and kids. I am very open to poly and open relationships. I have experienced some in the past with mixed results. I do think they can work with plenty of communication, respect and love.

Below is my the rest of my old profile, slightly edited...

I struggle between romanticism and pragmatism . I have been told that I am sweet, sensual, creative, and caring. I am an avid reader, and music listener. Films are good too. I have a house in Oakland. I am handy with tools, etc... fixer upper there. Have a big garden, art studio, a newly planted Sequoia tree, and a strange squirrel that keeps showing up. My housemates are amazing and very creative and talented. We sometimes have backyard movie nights next to the outdoor fireplace. I got my MFA in New Media. I am an adjunct professor, and was teaching experimental sound at SF State and now looking for a teaching job elsewhere.. I do video and sound installation. I compose and play music. I do a little multi media performance. I also hone my pen and ink drawing skills. I am a handy person at a health food coop. My hair is a little messy. I am constantly in awe towards the amount of talented people I know. I have shown in museums and galleries. I have been in arts residencies. I have toured throughout Europe for music. I have played in front of over 3000 people. I have produced a music an arts festival for years. I love being in love. I like to hike. I love the ocean.
I am handsome, eccentric, intelligent, and warm
What I’m doing with my life
Fixing up my house. Working a lot. Reading a lot. Trying to establish a disciplined art and music practice. And, yes, starting to exercise.
I’m really good at
Helping my friends. Building a community. Writing music. Creating visual art. Fixing things. Producing and curating. Kissing.
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue eyes. That I look like a cross between the Flaming Lips singer (Wayne Coyne), Tom Waits, and Paul Rudd.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The to - do list I wrote yesterday.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying not to go out. But get often pulled out by friends and going to music and art shows.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Read some of my answers to the ok cupid questions. Some of them are pretty revealing. Yikes. Oh, and i am still a bit emotional about my last heartbreak.

Well... in a person I am looking for an independent minded spirit but one that would want to collaborate in life, and perhaps in projects. My ultimate relationship would be an equal one much similar to the artist/ designer husband and wife team, Charles and Ray Eames. They made beautiful things together.
