I'm a bit of a geek, I admit it. I'm what my friends label "adorkable." I like sci-fi and fantasy novels, and movies of this genre automatically raise my interest. There's just something about the escape from reality and my day-to-day experience that peaks my interest. I also love politics, social justice, and making sure that when I leave this world, I have contributed in some way to make it a better place. I'm a physician at a homeless clinic and I can't think of a better job. It helps me to take stock of what's important in life and it keeps me humble. But besides what interests me or keeps me going each day, I also have to say I'm a pretty easy going guy. My friends describe me as witty, loquacious, and generous to a fault but definitely with an edge. I can be cutting if the situation merits it. Oh, and don't stand between me and my food. Fingers have been lost. It's not pretty.

In terms of who I want to meet, I tend to be attracted to guys who are assertive, funny, out going, physically active, and who have goals. I like guys who know what they want and how to go about achieving it as long as no one gets hurt in the process. Cute wouldn't hurt either. So if your idea of a good time is everything from just staying home and doing nothing, to going out and exploring the city, to going to movies or performances, to going to the pool and swimming 3500 yards, or to going out dancing until 2 or 3 in the morning, send me a quick hello. Huge plus if can dance hip-hop! So go ahead. You have read this far already.
