Live in SF.. 5 10 180 60.. hairy.. grey goatee... engaging, verbal, loyal, nicest guy you know, but not boring. Can be talky, but will stop if requested. (If you are easily overwhelmed I'm probably not the one for you). Very experienced sexually, but cuddles are just fine....Live in San Francisco... get to NYC and Boston a lot. Smart...Ivy, even. Can be silly/whimsical, but at base quite serious. Jewish culturally and a member of Americans for Peace Now. Not religious, but repect people looking for enlightenment; I think meditation is very powerful. Im HIV positive, if you're negative, we'll have safe sex (if it gets to that.. friends are cool!)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Worked on energy stuff (mostly electricity) for the state of California, as an economist and manager. Now retired, and (For fun) taking Russian and Spanish Language courses and Jewish History . Love travel, culchah, city walks... I'd like to do some teaching; looking into that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Expressing feelings... listening... analyzing... languages... putting things together.. noticing things around me... policy issues .
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Huge brown eyes.

I have lots of enthusiams: Tom Jones (by Fielding, not the singer), the Leopard, Virginia Woolf, Kundera, Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos, Frontline Documentaries, Shakespeare, Louis Malle, NPR, The NY Times, NY Review of Books, Jean Renoir (Rules of the Game, etc) Teddy Wilson/Billie Holiday, Thelonius Monk, the Goo Goo Dolls, Mozart, and Schumann (plus the usual other suspects). If it were possible to be a Criterion Films groupie, I'd sign up (or put out?). I need some tutoring in current alternative rock. Will eat almost anything.... :) I respect vegetarians, and like vegetarian food, but haven't made the leap.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Mozart (and all kinds of music)
Friends, dinner, conversation.
Nice Architecture (I've taken trips just to see buildings by Louis Kahn and Frank Lloyd Wright; love cast iron buildings.)
Intelligent Writing and Reporting
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Well not exactly thinking, but noticing people and things around me....

Notes to self type rants about how miserably wrong the Republican Party is on economics. Government CAN create jobs (you may not like what the employees do, of course), and cutting taxes isn't going to increase entrepreneurship IF companies can't sell its products due to low demand. AND taxes.... we pay the lowest in the developed world! I mean, show me ONE developed country that spends less on goverment than we do! Just one! (ooops.. see.. I've been ranting. I get enthusiastic.).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Can be a homebody. Not really into the bar scene any more (used to live at the Eagle). But I like going to performances (of whatever).. or getting on a plane.
