I am hilarious, sarcastic, and opinionated.

My Self-Summary

I make people laugh and I love to laugh. I plan my life out far in advance but am learning to enjoy the moment. I care a lot about helping others succeed because people have helped me get where I am today.

I have an idea of the type of guy that will catch my interest. Right now, I’m looking to date and enjoy life, whether it’s grabbing a drink at a new bar, exploring a new part of the city, or just meeting someone who makes me laugh. If there is a connection, I’m open to developing a relationship.

What I’m doing with my life

healing sick kids and calming neurotic parents. Two years ago, I moved to San Francisco to complete my medical training.

I’m really good at

making a fool of myself belting a rock anthem or Whitney Houston song at karaoke; grammar; parallel parking; remembering song lyrics; ballroom dancing; making people laugh.

The first things people usually notice about me

my height and my loud voice.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything not linked to medicine: Running with Scissors, Middlesex, Wuthering Heights, The Picture of Dorian Gray, financial planning books.

Movies: Clue, Best in Show, Little Miss Sunshine, Memento, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.

Music: I enjoy many different forms of music. Currently into Rihanna, Madonna, 80s synth pop (Dead or Alive, Erasure, Depeche Mode), and Lady Gaga.

Food: Sushi, Dim Sum, Thai, Mexican.

The six things I could never do without

Dance music
Diet Coke
Suze Orman
Cheese
Television (esp. Gossip Girl and reality shows on Bravo)
Sarcasm

I spend a lot of time thinking about

kids' illnesses (goes with the job) and where i'll be in 5-10 years.

On a typical Friday night I am

going out to dinner and drinks with close friends, followed by dancing...that is, if I'm not on-call overnight in the hospital.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

My Tina Turner drag impression has over 40,000 views on YouTube.

You should message me if

any of this made you smile, laugh, or just a bit curious. I'm a sucker for a guy with glasses, but even if you aren't visually impaired, I'd love to hear from you.
