I'm a graduate student in theoretical computer science, currently residing in Houston. Being something of an introvert, I'm generally fond of board games and casual socialization, rather than going out clubs and concerts.
I am a cuddly, tactile, silly, shy, laid-back kind of person. I identify as a geek, mathematician, poly, bisexual, submissive, and slightly genderqueer.

I am increasingly involved in teaching at the university level, and hope to continue doing so when I finish my degree. I love explaining things, and will gleefully try to teach some of the math I'm doing.

I am currently in an open relationship with Sister_Bluebird, which is currently long-distance to the tune of 1200 miles or so. I hope to be moving back to the midwest (Madison-ish) after I graduate, so that this is no longer the case.

I also have a notgirlfriend: ghost_machina. She lives in a giant tea kettle.

This is something of a contradiction. If I admit it here, it is no longer private. But, personal, well... I have a stupid fear about imposing on people, to the point that I back out of nice things.
