My Self-Summary
I grew up near sunny Manchester and moved to Cambridge after uni,
lived here a year and a half now.
I'm big on sports, both watching and playing. I've really got into snowboarding this winter, managed to get two weeks in and now I'm biding my time until the snow returns next year. I also play football a few times a week, but more for the fitness than being any good!
I'm also pretty into movies and TV, I watch a lot of American series', like the increasingly-twisty Lost and Heroes, though I try to follow far too many shows for the time I have to watch them.
I'm a bit quiet/shy until I get to know people well, and find it a bit hard to get to know people quickly. I haven't got to know that many people down here outside of work/football, so I guess I'm looking to expand my circle of friends as much as anything else.

I have an odd condition where people often think I'm really short,
then after months of knowing each other realise I'm not much
smaller than them.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: It may be looked down on by literary folk, but I got
engrossed by the Dan
Brown books, though by the time I got to the 3rd it was clear
he stuck to a good pattern. I also like the Discworld series
(though haven't read enough of them), and Harry Potter.
Movies: The Matrix series, Fight Club, Snatch, Rocknrolla, Back to the Future, Shawshank Redemption.. I'll give most things a watch, though horror films don't really do much for me (with the exception of the 28 ___ Later series).
Music: I have a pretty wide taste, tend to like what I like and ignore what anyone else thinks of it. I like a lot of indie music, though my iPod has everything from 80s hair metal to Dizzee Rascal. Don't judge me!
