What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am definitely in transition right now. I had a long career at private school here in the city teaching English. I am still at the school part time counseling and coaching cross country. As it stands, this will be my last year (by choice). I am considering several options for next year. Leading the list is renting out my large flat in Duboce Triangle and then spending perhaps a year of traveling. (Anybody want to join me?) Another option is to open a gym with my best friend in the Presidio or the Marina for kids who are serious about sports. We were both pretty high end athletes--my friend was a professional baseball player and I was a nationally ranked runner--so we both know first hand what kind of pressure these young athletes are under. Whatever I do after this year, I am looking forward to the challenges and adventures I will face.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

NOT being that organized at times (I'm working on it...)

Born to Run by Chris McDougall. This is an awesome book about a Mexican tribe of very reclusive people. Potentially these people could be the best runners in the world but rather than gaining fame and fortune, they run simply because they love doing it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I feel very strongly about the difference between needing and wanting so there is very little i could do without. So with that said, let me keep my amazing dog, Luna (see pic in profile) and my occasional ability to get a massage (I have back issues from all the running...)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am

I don't have a typical Friday night, but I do know that hitting the bars and clubs is not very high on my list.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

When I was 16, I foolishly tried my older cousin's prom dress on and then couldn't get it off. (Not my finest moment...)
