At this point I have a pretty clear idea of who I am, what makes me happy and what I want out of life. I'm pretty comfortable meeting people out in the wild, but have heard (and seen) enough evidence that meeting people online can be worth a shot. Definitely pro's and con's to both, so here I am - but see this more as a supplement.

I'm more sporty than artsy, but am pretty well-rounded - I'm equally happy at a fancy benefit, museum or work event as spending a day at a sporting event, concert or something fun outside (love both Tahoe seasons, but prefer warm to cold). Basketball and some form of exercise are staples of my week, and am also resolved to teaching myself to play guitar and find more time to read and cook.

Originally from upstate NY, I lived in Boston before moving to SF in 2000. Love it here for the weather, proximity to fun getaway spots (Tahoe, Vegas, Hawaii, SoCal), the people (natives and transplants).

I work as a financial professional by day, caped crusader by night.

I love the flexibility that my job allows, and try to take advantage with frequent weekend trips. 2013 is shaping up well with Sundance happening in January and Australia/New Zealand (finally!) happening end of February...

Listening to friends/family/clients, getting fun groups of people together, making my 2 1/2 year old nephew laugh, making good financial decisions, seeing things from other people's perspective, fun surprises, planning trips.

Tough one - but I'm usually smiling which often makes people wonder exactly what it is I'm up to...it's usually good
