I'm 25, originally from Toronto but have lived in Kingston since I was 13, with a brief stint in Halifax. I'm a bit of a geek, and enjoy books, internet, computers, movies, that kind of thing. I am made almost entirely of tin.

I studied linguistics for a while, and as a result of a paper on made language now speak Klingon, Quenyan and Sindarin.

Climbing. I don't know why. I'm also pretty good with languages.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I read fairly voraciously and don't like to pick favourites. I feel that most books have something to offer, and that people who can only read one genre miss out. I'll throw out Haruki Murakami, Neal Stephenson, John mcWhorter, Susana Clarke and Peg Bracken as some recent reads, though.

I generally like many movies, and again don't play favourites. Most recently watched: Un Chien Andalou, Jan Svankmeijer's "Alice," Hellboy, Monty Python's Meaning of Life, and for some reason Legally Blonde 2.

I'm not really in to music. I like it well enough but usually just throw on a streaming station from somafm or pandora if I feel like listening to something.

I really like Indian food, Japanese, Italian, Greek... well, I like most all food. I'm not too picky but avoid anything that still has eyes or any of the less pleasant organs.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

A good book, the internet, aglets, hydrogen, hot sauce, and gravity.

Seriously. Just try living without aglets.
