Still reading? Well if you are, kudos! Joking aside though, I'm a goal-oriented guy who loves to act like a kid, but knows when to get serious. I work for a large insurance firm in the northern suburbs of Chicago, and I love what I do. The commute isn't fun (294 during rush hour is...maddening), but it's worth it.
A more in-depth analysis points to me being an introvert (INTJ), but i still can hold my own in a crowd. I tend to be abrasive and snarky at times, but my heart is in the right place. I've recently rekindled my love of running and weight lifting, so I've got being active covered.
In my spare time, I like to play video games, lift heavy weights and put them down, and volunteer at my local animal shelter helping dogs. I also like to spend some time trying to think about philosophical things, like the meaning of life, why it's so fun to pop bubble wrap, and why Chicago drivers act like they've never driven before when a drop of rain hits their windshield.
- Fixing things like cars and motorcycles
- Working quotes from TV shows, movies, and video games into random conversations
- Knowing completely random things about random topics
I'm also a person who comes off as well-read, charismatic, and educated, but whenever I let my guard down I'm also a fun loving guy.
Music: Muse, Poets of the Fall, the Bravery, The Last Shadow Puppets, Hard-Fi, Chris Cornell, and Stone Temple Pilots to name a few, but I'm a fan of pieces from every genre.
Food: Sushi and mostly anything Filipino I love. I'm also a sucker for a good cheeseburger. The way to my heart though is a warm slice of pecan pie.
TV: Homeland, Breaking Bad, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Californication, The Walking Dead, House, The Following, 24
- Random plethora of Apple products
- My motorcycle
- A nice, warm day to take advantage of said motorcycle
Why aren't drivers around Chicago better?
Why is bubble wrap so fun?
