My Self-Summary
I am a 35yo transplant from New York, and have been in the
Philadelphia area for about 4 years. I am a social worker, and feel
passionate about my profession! I am here to see if this might be a
good avenue to meeting interesting and stimulating individuals! As
I get older, I realize that I do want to meet that special someone
to learn and grown with and from, to love both intrinsically and
extrinsically. I hope that we can chat soon!
What I’m doing with my life
I am continually working on myself, both personally and
professionally. I believe that noone ever reaches a state of
"perfection" and that we should always be exploring new ideas.
Taking responsibility for the things that we would like to change
is so important, and I like to surround myself with people who have
similar views on life
My job right now, like many others, is challenging right now. But I am in the midst of changing, and I am hopeful that becoming more independent as a therapist will be a great change for me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I just read Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay, and this book moved
me so much that I have not been able to start another book since I
finished this one. It is a must read!
I am a huge lover of movies and music - the Ritz theaters in Philadelphia are my second home-I adore independent and foreign films, and feel like I just get lost in the stories. Music really helps me set my mood-there is a song for every emotion that can be inspirational!
FOOD-where do you want to eat? I love love love exploring new restaurants and cuisines, BYOB's are always a good find.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
improvements that I can make in my life so that I can be internally
happy and satisfied.
On a typical Friday night I am
either out to dinner to unwind from the week, or at home, in my
pj's watching What Not To Wear and eating pasta! Very relaxing
